I guess that depends on whether you really think Jesus rose from the grave... otherwise he was just a dead guy in a cave. Not really something to laugh at if you're Jesus.

I'm interested to see how this series fleshes out. Hopefully it's not a one joke sitcom like "The Goode Family" or it will get old quickly.

Of course it's a parody of Portland. That's what makes it funny. I wouldn't take it entirely too serious. Make fun all you want. I can't wait for this show.

I've been seeing an ad for this consistently when I watch Todd Margaret... it looks funny, and I was curious to see how Portlanders would react to it.
