Oden is getting angrier and angrier with every negative article written about him, every day he is not on the court.

I hope Oden is angry and comes back with a f'n vengence.

I just hope the guy can go for more than a quarter without getting MRIs. Then let's get on with the vengence and such.

The biggest "positive" I can see is that it might get some people around here to check their over-inflated expectations of this team a little bit.

I don't see it that way. To me all it does is hinder his development and continue to put even more pressure on him, both internally and externally.

You really can't make this shit up. The dude is gone an entire year, then 3 FUCKING MINUTES INTO HIS FIRST GAME he gets hurt again... I'm really in the, "We can't rely on this guy ever being there" camp. It's not his fault, I know he's worked hard to come back, but the simple fact of the matter is - if he's never there, you can't rely on him, and he'll never improve.

The last six years I've rooted for a punch-line, the jailblazers. Now I'm rooting for a different kind of punch-line. I'm just tired of it.

Short term it improves our team if Joel gets all his minutes.

The opposite if Frye/Diogu/LA gets them.

Those 3 ain't centers.

Good thing you're nomadic.

You can easily jump teams.

Quit acting like a moron, if possible.

This discussion is not about the team, it's about Oden. If I've weathered the past decade as a fan, I can weather last night.

No one ever said being a fan was easy. We Blazer fans have had it better than most.

Or the other players can choose to step up in his absence.

I hope when he comes back he is like an angry hellboy.

Come to think of it, he does look like hellboy.

Think I'm gonna start calling him hellboy.
