That contract is BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGHHHH!! WHY DID YOU DO THIS, THORN??!!</div>
i hate when people try and defend his contract. you dont give a 30 year old who's declining fast a 60 million dollar extension, remember in the offseason, some here called it a bargain. if anything, his playoff series against the cavs where he was abysmal was a sign of him getting old
</div>
no one can defend that contract. There were no other bidders. You pay him that much and you wait two months and say oops we fucked up.
Also it's not VC fault it's management fault.
</div>
i never blame players for getting large contracts, you cant blame them, blame the foolishness off the GMs who go out there way to give them unseenly large contracts. fact is, charlotte traded a lottery big man to get JRich when they could have signed VC, MJ called him out and said he didnt want him, supposedly, orlando went after him but I SEVERLY doubt it, rashard is young then him. that leaves this question, why give him so much money when he had no place to go? he had no leverage in this and thorn folded when he had the cards in his hand
