Where's...BONE..I'm sure he'll be picking one with Biron even if he's not playing tonight.
I think he brings more than a just 3rd line guy. When we are begging for a 3rd line 15 or so goal guy like Hags to get back ASAP, you know there are some issue upfront...LOL.
Couldn't agree more. I used to like Torts but did sour on him last year and still felt he had to go. His doghouse, pp, and a few other things made it clear it to me it was time to go. I have no doubt they will improve from what they are now. I don't think they're a bad team, just not a great team. If Vancouver struggles, maybe there will be some kind of swap between the two.[/QUOTE]
Wow were 4 games in and people want Torts back. LOL

Dis, i think he meant a player trade between the teams
Under no circumstances should Torts be back
Thank you 31. I though that was obvious. Of course I was talking about players. Come on Dis! Really?
Not a problem Dis. The last 2 games have been brutal and everyone is probably a little unwound. As far as Nash, I specifically said since he's been here. He had the groin issue to start last season, then a concussion, now another concussion. There might have been something else in there too. Props to him for trying to play through it all, and maybe that's why he's had stretches where he didn't play too well. The concussions could start becoming a problem. When you get one, each succeeding one makes you more susceptible to another. I'm a little worried about it.
It's going to take a few years to get to a championship level. Sit back and unwind guys.
.See that's where you guys are caught in the Sather/NY web, you need to look past this year, it ain't happening no matter what limited moves they can finagle out of DZ(rolls eyes)and a few B-prospects. It's about using next year to get AV caliber FA's and get some of these young guys up to speed. Not looking ahead leaves you caught in THESTEALTHWEB!!Maybe so but losing Nash and getting outscored 15-2 in 2 games might just provoke some changes.
At any rate I am not going to assess our window of a championship team after 4 games

So you're still expecting this team to make enough magical moves to contend for a SC this year? That's stage 1 of SC's self-denial plan I'm trying to get you through. In 3 years we may be there sc. Let's keep hope alive. You have the 3 year plan. I like it.
