How are we guaranteed a home game if we are the 8th seed and have to win a game?

If we end up as the 8th seed and we win the play-in game then we'll have home games in the first round.

If we end up as the 8th seed and we lose our first play-in game our second play-in game will be at home against the winner of 9th seed versus 10th seed.
Also there is still a very real possibility that we end up the 9th seed in which case we get a home game in the play-in against the 10th seed.

And it’s going to be freaking electric in there as it always is for Post-Season Basketball!

Thats so sad that we will be hosting a game after a loss in a playin.

Bring that motivation... lmao. Play in is such a joke and not playoff experience.

Play in games will be playoff atmosphere.

And who said we are going to lose?

Stephen Curry returned last night after a 2 months absence; almost led the Warriors to an upset of the Rockets. If Blazers are 9th and host the Warriors, that Curry factor is a little scary. He's proven a hundred times that he's capable of beating any team on a given night. Toumani will be chasing him all night long

Any chance you have this explanation in picture form?IMG_3479.jpeg

No one would be forcing you to attend - I for one would look forward to it. It's certainly not the end goal - but sure as hell beats losing by 40 with a g-league roster like we've done in April the last 4 years.

Miami lost their first play-in game in 2023 and made it to the Finals.

Curry’s play-in record is 1-3.

I'm sure if you work at it you could come up with something even more ridiculous; you have talent. What is his playoff record (it's 105-51; a .671 winning percentage which is better than Michael Jordan)? How many rings does he have? How many big games as he led the Warrior to wins?

Yeah, I do not want our team to have to play the Warriors in a single elimination game.

that's all I'm saying Portland is the better team, especially with Butler and Moody out, and the game would be at the Moda. But Curry is still capable of a 40 point outburst on spectacular shooting. If the Blazers are a bit cold, or they have their usual raft of turnovers, it could get shaky
