How cool would it he for blazers to come out of the locker room with red war paint on their faces, just like braveheart but with red of course. Players would have to decide to blow out their opponents and I think next game the whole crowd would want their faces painted. Great way to raise money, fun for fans, and makes players feel like warlords. I can't see any negatives?

The lack of responses should be indicative of something...

I suppose they could grow beards, but war paint would be original.

War paint until ESPN recognizes them as worth of highlights on sportscenter.

Indians go on the warpath if you don't employ real Indian actors to impersonate Indians.

Isn't the idea to make Portland more attractive to elite players? Your idea seems like an NBA version of Spinal Tap, which fictionally would be funny. Hell, I could write a SNL skit about the players sitting in the locker room getting their faces painted, and then waiting in the tunnel, embarrassed as all hell.

I'd be embarrassed as a fan, actually.

I've read a couple of this rooks posts.....I don't think we should take him to serious.

He is making me laugh, though, so that counts. Think of the grumbling of the players on a flight immediately after a road game where Paul Allen made them wear facepaint. It's hilarious! I think he's joking, too, and the visual of the team running on the court like Braveheart is so absurd, it must be parody.

Finally someone with some sense of internet hilarity...
