The playoffs are the start of a brand-new season for the predictions game.
The winner for each series will receive a prize (and I'm hoping we have multiple series), and there will be an overall playoffs winner as well.
Because of the potential shortness of a series, the qualifications for appearing on the cumulative rankings are slightly changed. In order to appear, you must have predicted at least 75% of the games for a given series. Likewise, to appear in the multi-series cumulative standings (assuming multiple series), you must also have predicted at least 75% of the games.
What has happened in the past does not matter. If you didn't participate or participate regularly during the regular season has no bearing on your standings for the post-season. All start at ground zero and go from there.
