Biggest mistake we made in the offseason: getting rid of Mike and Mike. Not a fan of the new duo.

Calbaro just has a national broadcaster voice... It's so different from Mike Barrett... If he takes away the "red and black" I'll like him even more.

And... I loved Rice, but we needed something else... and Hurd will be good... he'll learn to truncate his messages and not subtlety promote fast food soon.

Diaw was clearly on the Felton diet this summer. I can't believe dumbass media people think he'll actually make a difference

And he played in the Olympics too.

Calabro's voice irritates me. It's boring as fuck. Barrett was a good balance of straight man and still having some personality. Rice was the crazy uncle who showed up to dinner already drunk and kept everyone entertained. Hurd feels like a desperation hire. I'm pissed because I liked Mike and Mike so much, plus I felt they kind of got the shaft.

Edit: When I used to have the opportunity to choose to watch games on national TV or Comcast with the Mikes, I chose Comcast every time to hear Mike and Mike. Now I would rather hear whatever idiots they have calling the game on ESPN or wherever.

You know, I was on that thought of they got the shaft when it first came out... but they got paid for a year to look for other work (or retire in Rice's case)... not too shabby.

Calbaro will be fine. And it's nice to have a guy who can see 10 players on the court, instead of 20. ;)

Yeah. It's kind of annoying that our best non-roster guy is ANOTHER small defensively-challenged guard. But he's EASILY the best.
I actually thought he was playing decent defense...he's had a good game so far

Let's not be overly critical of the broadcasting not being energized enough after 2 quarters... BTW I'm liking Jordan Kent in that "anchor" role.

Napier has that swagger. He was a big game player in college. Don't know about his NBA career so far, haven't followed him, but I think he's good enough to be in the rotation, even if it's for 5-10minutes

You'll get over it. Calabro has that vin scully type voice along with the ability to succinctly and charmingly tell a story within the construct of a basketball game. Hurd is young and hip, something Mike rice was the very antithesis too. Of course I miss the Mikes, I grew up with them, but I have a feeling blazer basketball is going to synonymous with calabro and hurd much sooner than you may think.
