I watched the Phoenix / Utah game last night. The Suns have some some very good young talent. But no, they are a year away from making the playoffs.

As for the Jazz....Trey Lyles worries me. I have a bad feeling that he is going to be really really good. I would love to trade for him.
 
Lyles was big this summer he is going be good. The problem he sitting behind favors and that might stump his growth.
 
Aside from Booker's potential development into the next big star SG (as some have predicted), Phoenix's future is tied up completely in their rookies. I'll be very interested to see how Ulis, Chriss, and the Dragan perform.

I think Favors , Gobert and Lyles is a good rotation since Favors can play center too. I'ts Diaw that might take some of his minutes this year, which I bet decreases as the season goes on.

I really like Bledsoe/Booker/Warren. If Bled can stay healthy, and the rooks are as good as their hype in 2 or 3 years, they could really be something.

Chriss has so much upside. Very glad he left WA early. He will struggle with his shot this year. It will be interesting to see how he grows into his body. I am shocked he is already weighs 233. He looks thinner.

The team has kept track of deflections for years. This year we should take a leap in that.

I voted No on the poll but who knows. If they come together well they could maybe make some noise. Bledsoe is a player, people say Booker is quite good and I've also seen some love for this Ulis kid already. Lets see what they've got

Bledsoe, Booker, Knight, Ulis, and Goodwin are all from Kentucky, and that's just in their backcourt.

Yeah but looking at our competition last summer I thought we had an outside chance. I only counted 7 teams who I thought were locks to make the playoffs. And all the other teams IMO had just as many question marks as we did.

This year I see 10 teams who are better than Phoenix. Now of course injuries to other teams can change that in a hurry.
So it's not impossible, I just would not bet on it.

No the desert dwellers will not make the playoffs this year...I think in two years time they will.

I hate Devin Booker...guy had no business in summer league....he beat our summer league team by himself
