• Sunday’s game is the only preseason meeting between the Trail Blazers and the Jazz this season.

• LAST MEETING: The Trail Blazers defeated the Jazz on April 11, 102-93, to clinch the Northwest Division title. Damian Lillard led Portland with 36 points and 10 assists while Utah was paced by Ricky Rubio and Donovan Mitchell, who each finished with 17 points and five assists.

• Portland and Utah split the season series in 2017-18, 2-2.

• The Trail Blazers and the Jazz have played six times in the last four preseasons. Portland is 4-2 in those contests, including 2-1 at Moda Center.

• Damian Lillard averaged 33.0 points (46.3% FG, 30.0% 3-PT, 100% FT), 4.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists in four games against the Jazz during the 2017-18 season.

• In four games against Utah in 2017-18, CJ McCollum averaged 20.8 points (40.7% FG, 41.7% 3-PT, 63.6% FT), 4.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists.

Man, Jazz have a pretty solid squad. They will be a tough team again this year. I think Mitchell is probably my favorite player outside our team. Kid is awesome, shoulda been ROY. Will be a top 5 player at some point in his career IMO. Quinn Snyder still looks like a 1920s gangster.

Gary Trent Jr. - 20 minutes against the Raptors, 9 against the Suns.
Anfernee Simons - 15 minutes against the Raptors, 12 against the Suns.

It's a slight downward trend, but I'd say it's likely they will play similar minutes tonight.

In the Adelaide 36ers @ Utah Jazz game Gobert was rested, and Favors started at the 5. Adelaide constantly drove into the paint, and caused Favors to pick up 4 fouls in the first quarter. With Favors on the bench Utah had no rim protection.

So it would be a good idea to attack the rim when Gobert is on the bench.

Absolutely agree. So many defining moments in that show as Walt keeps sinking deeper and deeper, being seduced by the money and especially the power he had previously lacked in his boring, mundane life.

I've only watched it once, but will probably watch it a second time this winter. I'm currently re-watching, Mad Men, one of my other favorite shows. I don't watch much TV when the weather is nice and the days are long. I'd rather be outside. I get most of my TV fix during the short, rainy days of winter and there isn't really anything new on I want to watch these days, So, it looks like I'll be re-watching some of my old favorites this winter - and the Blazers!
