Everyone likes to say that everyone sucks. Nate sucks. Frye sucks. LMA sucks. Well, we're killing the Heat right now so step up and say something nice please.

JK, I love our team and am loving every minute of this game. Especially Rudy!

Props to Pryz

Props to King for the props thread.

Props to everyone. I can't think of any Blazer that didn't play well tonight.

Brandon Roy was FUCKING TERRIBLE. 2-11 or something???

FUCKING TRADE HIM. Can we get Randy Foye or Telfair back even? LOL, I bet Minnesota wouldn't even do it...

I wanna give props to Batum for his best game of the year- he shot well, hustled like crazy as usual, and played good defense.
Przybilla was also a defensive beast, blocking 4 shots and grabbing 9 rebounds in 19 minutes.

Frye and Aldridge had very nice shooting games, so they deserve some credit, too.

Sergio and Rudy were increasing the entertainment of the game with sick alley oops. Outlaw moved a lot without the ball, getting a lot of slams and easy shots. So props to them.

I also want to give a shout out to Bayless who had 4 rebounds and 1 assist in about 5 minutes of play. And he was selfless, not even putting up a shot.

The Heat Suck

lol. nice.

seriously, they really aren't that good, and even worse without Marion.

Beasley--man, I watch him and I can't help but think "Shareef Abdur-Rahim with a three point shot." I know he's a rookie so maybe it's a little too early to judge, but he looks like a classic overrated tweener. Not quick enough to guard threes, not tall enough to guard fours, not interested enough to guard anyone.

anyway, this wasn't supposed to be a "slam-on-Miami" thread. so back to props:

props to Kevin Pritchard for putting together this thing.

props to our shooters. we've got four different guys who would've been our best three point shooter in "the dark years" (Fernandez, Blake, Batum, Webster).

props to Przybilla for finally putting it all together to be the best center we've had since Sabonis.

just a really nice game that clearly demonstrated how good this team could be in another year or two.

Props to Frye for everything 2 feet and beyond from the basket.

props to our shooters. we've got four different guys who would've been our best three point shooter in "the dark years" (Fernandez, Blake, Batum, Webster).
props to Travis for shooting better from 3's then all four of the guys you listed and still being overlooked

STOMP

Props to G.O. Everyone seems to be down on him, but if you extrapolate his stats to 30 mpg, he is averaging 12/10/3. Not bad at all. I for one, still consider him a SUPERSTAR, with time.

Batum is a condor.

On that last play where he got called for over the back I think he standing flat-footed, with knees bent, when he dunked it.

Props to Frye for nailing shots. He annoys me sometimes but I can say why they like him doing that. He and Rudy are developing quite the rapport.

No props to MOOK for not mentioning Outlaw, statistically the best three point shooter on the roster this year.

A ridiculous or ignorant post? You choose.

So what happens to Nic when Marty comes back? 10 minutes a game max?

I feel like I'm not allowed to be happy after the game tonight, since it ruffled so many feathers that I was pi$$ed after Monday's game

For most of the first 3 quarters we were only up 15 or so...and Wade was punking Oden like Ashton Kutcher (refs acting like SuperTroopers), we were allowing layups like it was cool, letting them slap around at our guards. Finally Przy (PROPS!) stood up to Wade, and then we started pouring it on. But there were a few times that Oden should've let out with a scream, laid a forearm shiver on someone, or started rebounding like Dikembe (where the ball never goes below the shoulders, and elbows fly left and right to dissuade the slapping). Until we do that, we will continue to get punked. And some night, we're not going to be up 20 while it goes on.

I loved to see us running and passing well. I hated seeing that Wade had 0 fouls at halftime...that's some BS foul-calling (anti-Props to Wade slurpage). I love seeing me some Batum, and hope to see more. Channing had a good night, but I still see he and Blake losing minutes when Webs comes back. I loved seeing Travis cutting baseline for dunks, and looking for cutters when he was driving. I loved seeing Rudy attacking the hole, even though his first layin attempt got blocked. I love that Sergio was getting people involved on offense and defense, and that Nate's calling that game "Beautiful Basketball". Props to Joel also for makin Beasley look stupid on a few occasions. Props to the crowd for giving Joel the Standing O when he came out. Props to Oden for staying within himself (and making a jumper!!). Props to Bayless for looking for others instead of himself in garbage time. Props to Frye for calling Batum "Frenchie" in an interview with Haarlow. PROP of the Game? Batum. He got us off to the start that let us relax and play.

Few anti-props...Blake either needs to work on the alley-oop, or not throw it. He missed to LMA and almost got Travis decapitated. But PROPS! for actually sacking up and trying it. Anti-prop to Sergio for almost airballing a 3 in garbage time.

Maybe it was just Rice slurpage, but I loved hearing that Webster's shot is even better than usual.

Props to the stat leaders tonight:
Frye 17 pts
Sergio 11 ast
Greg 10 rbs
Joel 4 blk
Batum 2 stl
LaMarcus .70 fg%
Travis 4-4 ft
Rudy 3-4 3pt

Don't let people like me affect your ridiculous expectations of the team. I don't govern how you feel after wins. I only comment on your feelings. If you don't like it, don't post your feelings.

props to the clippers for coming back to tie the nuggets with 1:34 left. go clips!!!!!!!

^Jesus...you are hostile after wins too?!? (@papag)

Did you read the game thread? I am calling out those bitching about a 40 point win in that thread.

Eff you, DaRizzle, and stop poaching my picks. :dunno:

Thanks for the clarification PapaG, I'll make sure to put the [/sarcasm] in next time.

We'll see how close my "ridiculous expectations" are later on.

If they win 58 games, you were wrong for criticizing the start of a young team so early in the season. If they don't, your expectations were wrong.

Lose/lose for you. Probably should just not have been so negative if you wanted to keep up your expectations with some sort of credibility? :dunno:
