PapaG, did somebody poop in your cheerios today or what?

Nope.

I just think your posts SUCK, on the whole, when you call out productive players for "SUCKING".

Especially when they drop 5 points on your ass immediately after you say they SUCK, and then you disappear.

Hey, BrianFromWA and FEZ both show up after the game.

Is it to praise the team? Nope.

It is to critcize someone praising the team. :ghoti:

stoopid clippers. had the ball down 1 with 7 seconds left and all they could get is a 3 pointer clank from camby.

So Channing had a good game, should we discount the previous 10 games that he was mediocre at best? He has sucked this season, with the exception for tonight.

Your posts suck. And your attempts at humor with your avy fell about 20 yards short. Oh!

Wow. If we get to 58, that's great. If not, I guess I lose. Either way...I'll still be criticizing any game that we play like a bunch of $hitty 5th-grade girls.

If we keep blowing teams out (not gonna happen every time) and play "beautiful basketball" (should happen as much as possible), you'll keep seeing happy sunshine threads like today (and Friday night).

Grrrrrrrrr! FEZ is angry! Be angry, FEZ, your takes on the team SUCK!

As for the avatar, the Dude is soooooooo 1998.

You weren't around during the "happy sunshine" game. You only showed up to criticize a poster like me, who was here during the game.

?? I'll repost, since it seems like you missed it.

I feel like I'm not allowed to be happy after the game tonight, since it ruffled so many feathers that I was pi$$ed after Monday's game

For most of the first 3 quarters we were only up 15 or so...and Wade was punking Oden like Ashton Kutcher (refs acting like SuperTroopers), we were allowing layups like it was cool, letting them slap around at our guards. Finally Przy (PROPS!) stood up to Wade, and then we started pouring it on. But there were a few times that Oden should've let out with a scream, laid a forearm shiver on someone, or started rebounding like Dikembe (where the ball never goes below the shoulders, and elbows fly left and right to dissuade the slapping). Until we do that, we will continue to get punked. And some night, we're not going to be up 20 while it goes on.

I loved to see us running and passing well. I hated seeing that Wade had 0 fouls at halftime...that's some BS foul-calling (anti-Props to Wade slurpage). I love seeing me some Batum, and hope to see more. Channing had a good night, but I still see he and Blake losing minutes when Webs comes back. I loved seeing Travis cutting baseline for dunks, and looking for cutters when he was driving. I loved seeing Rudy attacking the hole, even though his first layin attempt got blocked. I love that Sergio was getting people involved on offense and defense, and that Nate's calling that game "Beautiful Basketball". Props to Joel also for makin Beasley look stupid on a few occasions. Props to the crowd for giving Joel the Standing O when he came out. Props to Oden for staying within himself (and making a jumper!!). Props to Bayless for looking for others instead of himself in garbage time. Props to Frye for calling Batum "Frenchie" in an interview with Haarlow. PROP of the Game? Batum. He got us off to the start that let us relax and play.

Few anti-props...Blake either needs to work on the alley-oop, or not throw it. He missed to LMA and almost got Travis decapitated. But PROPS! for actually sacking up and trying it. Anti-prop to Sergio for almost airballing a 3 in garbage time.

Maybe it was just Rice slurpage, but I loved hearing that Webster's shot is even better than usual.

I can't read that garble. Post it next time in a form I can read. All I could see is some 2003 line about Oden getting Punk'd by Oden. The rest lost my interest.

I offer my comments to FEZ and BrainInWA only so they don't take out their frustrations on their women (or men, or hand).

It was setting up the props to Joel. Sorry it didn't click for you. If you tell me how you're better able to read it, I'd be happy to help. Perhaps you should wait to regain your lost interest and finish reading the post you're planning on calling out before you actually call it out. Or not. Your choice. It does seem to detract from credibility, though.

Perhaps getting to your point would help. You seem to be a man of many words. The problem is, most people don't care to read them based on your past. So get to the point and then add your secondary points in subsequent posts. It's not like you are FEZ; you do have some very good opinions.

I'm not sure what "past" you mean, but ok.

Like I've said before...sorry about that. I don't post on Olive for that reason; I try to put my thoughts and their reasons in one post rather than splitting it up over 4 or 5. Most there don't like it or pay attention to my posts, so I don't get discussion, so I don't waste my time. If it's becoming like that here, my fault.

It's not natural for me to split the posts up, but if it adds to discussion I'll work on it.

I'm just saying ,you tend to put an extreme position in early in your post, and even if you are J.D. Salinger, it is hard to get past the extreme point if/when the rest of the post is read.

Be succint. State your case. I've agreed with you on some things, but the extremist views tend to make me ignore at times.

Props to Oden for looking like a good player. Moved very well tonight and seemed much more at ease. Going to be a great player.

Looky here, we should all listen to this brilliant advice that was put so "succintly"

It is pretty sad when a dumb old bodyman with bondo dust in his brain knows that the word is spelled succinct.

props to Travis for shooting better from 3's then all four of the guys you listed and still being overlooked

STOMP

Hey, it's a small sample size. We don't really know if Outlaw will ever be a good perimeter shooter until he hits 1000 of them in a season at a 50% clip, a third of them from half court, and Steve Kerr performs fellatio on him during the pre-game warmup. And even then, it better be for four or five years in a row.

Until then, Webster is the better perimeter shot. Because, after all, his form is prettier (although not the accuracy), and we drafted him over Chris Paul because of that pretty stroke.

In summary: We drafted Webster over Chris Paul because John Nash thought his shooting form was nice. We didn't do that with Outlaw. Ergo, Outlaw doesn't count.

Props to the team. This was a total team win. Everyone played a key role. Love this team. If I had to pick one person that stood out, it was Batum. Plays nothing like a 19-year old.

Might've also been because, so close to the Jail Blazer timeframe, it would've been tough to draft a kid that 2 months before had cheap-shotted a kid in the nuts on national TV. Probably not, but you can't discount those things in hindsight.

Great observation, and I've not been sold on Batum, but he is starting to look really nice lately.

I'm just glad I never said he SUCKED!

No props to MOOK for not mentioning Outlaw, statistically the best three point shooter on the roster this year.

A ridiculous or ignorant post? You choose.

Props to alcohol for clouding my mind and making me forget one of my favorite players.

Props to alcohol for also fueling your righteous anger, I suspect. (If not, I'd hate to see you with a drink or two.)
