Kravtsov with 2 A and a+3. 4 points in his last 3 games and is a +5.

It's good he's starting to see some production, it can only help his confidence. That's huge for a player at his stage of development. If he's not traded, we really need him to turn into that top 6 winger he was recently projected to be. There isnt much else (if anything) in the system that has that kind of ceiling on the wing.

Barron 2 goals last night. Cornell plays a defensive style so averaging over a PPG is pretty darn good for that team. Finally a forward with a good size to weight ratio at 6'3, 215 pounds.

I don’t know what his defensive game is like but with that size he could be an intriguing 3C option down the road.

Joey keane recalled for tonight’s game!! Hmmmmmm!

Barron 2 G 1A now with 28 points in 24 games on one of the best defensive teams in the country. Always funny to hear morons on HF try to diminish the prospect he is. This guy will be a good NHL player. Sometimes you get those guys who put up 40 points in college or juniors, 40 points in the AHL then 40 points in the NHL. I think he's that type. With his size, strength, hockey IQ and shot he should be a guy that always gets garbage goals, tip in's and is excellent defensively. The team surely needs another guy like that. Especially in games vs a team with the Jackets style of play.

Great night for prospects. Pujuniemi had 2 goals and now has 25 goals, 37 points in 46 games in Liiga. Impressive. An injury slowed him down but he's back now. Barron with this 14th. Guy just gets it done almost every game. Lias had 2 goals. Still have hope for him. We need more players like him with grit who can hit if the team is to win physical, playoff series. Kravtsov with 1 G 1 A, 9 points in his last 15 games and he's a plus player. Maybe headed in the right direction. Gross and Robertson are playing well. Miller seems to be a plus player lately on a team that has no clue.

Robertson a plus 13 in his last 10 games and now has 42 points. Another big, fast, left handed defenseman with offensive and defensive skills.

This team will have crazy size up front real soon with talent to go with it. I really think we need to get a legit, second line center in here. Zibanejad has had concussion issues. It's a concern. I'm still going after Hertl even with his knee injury. He could be PPG guy here on a good contract, locked up and he's a 54% faceoff guy. If you can get them to take Staal or Smith which have to be part of the deal, I have no problem sending them a package like Hajek, Rykov, Andersson and a 1st. I like Lias still. That would go a long way to helping them rebuild. They have so many bad contracts long term that after Staal or Smith is up, it gives them cap relief. His value should be down some after that injury but I'd still go for him.

If the team is out of the playoffs i wouldn't be surprised to see Kravtsov for the last 2-3 games in April.

Gettinger with 2 goals. Last year in 64 games he had 14 goals, 27 points and was a -20. This year in 52 games he has 15 goals, 26 points and is a plus 4. He's only 21 and at 6'6, 218 lbs I still hope he can be part of our 4th line at some point. Wall still having a great year with a .930 save percentage. Good looking goalie prospect. Nils Lundkvist 27 points in 40 games and is a plus 20. Absolute stud. Basically, another Adam Fox coming to our team and that is a good thing. Lias with 8 points in 10 games now. Looks like he's getting his game back finally.

Millers season is over at Wisconsin. It'll be interesting to see if they sign him and give him a few games in April if they're out of the hunt. More likely is he opens in Hartford for a few months next year.

They signed a college FA, Patrick Khodorenko from Michigan St, a 6'0-206 C who had 16/17-33 this year. Looks mostly like a Hartford type but the report says he could be a 4th line player in time.

Thick centre forward who may not be a blazer, but is very quick short burst flyer. Reads the ice well, and is a great stickhandler. This highly skilled, strong and explosive player who is committed to Michigan State University. At this juncture, he still hasn't shown consistent production to commensurate his skill set, and projects as an energy player at the bottom end of your line up.

There was quite a bit of interest in him from reports. Our AHL is basically void of talent. Most is either on the Rangers or finishing up juniors, college or over seas. Next year might be the first legit, AHL producing team we have had in quite some time. Lias might be back there if he's not dealt. Then you have Khodorenko, Lettieri, Barron, Pajuniemi, Gross, Henriksson maybe, Miller, Kravtsov, Gettinger, Lettieri, Fontaine, Rykov, Reunanen maybe, Wall, Huska and Hajek.

Fontaine was the teams best defensive forward for the pack before being out for the year. Considering how bad our forwards suck on d, I would hope if he's back healthy that Quinn finds a role for him on the 4th line. I think Lundkvist is a lock to make this team on d. I really hope they move TDA to wing. I just got a hunch he could pull it off and flourish there. I think Gettinger and Barron have a good chance to make the team as well.

No loss. He never got much better from all reports. There is a guy with twice of talent of Ryan Lindgren who is 1/4 the player.

Sounds like they may be able to have Barron on the roster when they resume. It'll be interesting to see if Kravtsov is listed on it too.

Barron should be one of those 20-20 guys who is hard to play against and makes big plays in the playoffs. We need a guy like that.

Somebody posted an article that Lundkvist will be staying in Sweden next year. Don't know if it's true. That would be a big mistake for the kid.

It is true. He said this morning he's staying one more season in Sweden. Not ideal, but at 19 not a huge issue. Most likely means he won't be fully NHL ready for two years at 21 (figure he'll need one transition year over here).

You could take the flipside and say if Andersson stayed longer there, he wouldn't have gotten screwed up. Who knows. Maybe he talked to Lias and he told him don't go until you are ready. Either way, the right side of the d is taken care of so that won't be the issue going forward. The left side needs upgrading. Smith can't be on this roster day 1. He isn't any good. Staal needs to be dealt or bought out. Good Ranger. Good playoff guy. His time is over here. The left side right now is potentially a disaster as Miller and Robertson aren't close to being ready. Hajek must come through next year. I don't know what the deal is with Rykov. If he went back to Russia or not. He was hurt all the time last season. I could see the Rangers making a trade for a lefty vet D guy with one year left on his deal.

If you look at next year, I think we'll need to add a top 4 LD to the mix for maybe 2 years while we wait for Miller/Robertson/kids to develop. Also I don't see a way Hank, Smith, and Staal are all gone. One I can see. Two I think is unlikely as well, unless there is one non-cap impacting compliance buyout allowed due to Corona.

My guess is Staal is here for his last season to play on the 3rd pair, which is okay. Then you have Lindgren, and the need to add a vet LD for a couple of seasons to round out the left side. And I do agree if Hajek can step up that would be huge. It would really help solidify the left side in the short term.

Most likely to go is Hank I think. Smith is a we'll see. Might just bite the bullet on him for one last season to avoid dead money the following season, unless we can use a non-cap impacting compliance buyout on Hank. The rules of engagement, and any tweaks due to the virus, will be interesting to see when things start up for next season.

I think Miller is fairly close, maybe half a year at Hartford, but physically he is NHL ready pretty much. Lundkvist needs the physical maturation though he may be ahead of Miller skill wise. Robertson and Zac Jones are 3y away I'd think. Rykov, Hajek and even Reunanen are still wild cards.

Jones and Reunanen will never play here. You can't be that small on d and win in the playoffs. Unfortunately, we have 3, extremely talented, smaller righty d in Fox, DeAngelo and Lundkvist. I still say move DeAngelo to wing where I think he will be a 70 or 80 point guy. His wrist shot is crazy good and his offensive skills are elite. I think he can make the move. Still play him on the point on the PP. I don't think Miller is close. The Wisconsin coaching staff sucked. He needs at least a year to get unscrewed. Maybe a year and a half. Lundkvist is so far ahead of Miller it's mind boggling. Kid could have made this team easy this year.

Our prospects in Euro are doing pretty damn good. Kravtsov in 11 games on a shit team with no talent has 6 G 2 A in 11 games. From all reports if the useless asswipes on his team could shoot or pass he probably would have 15 to 20 points. Finally headed in the right direction. Henriksson has 1 G in 2 games but his coach has been raving about him. Looking forward to more offense from him in the SHL. Lias has 1 G 1 A in 3 games and has been dominant on draws. Good thing because Howden for a guy 6'3 plays like a pussy. Lundkvist 1 A in 2 games. Personally, he should have come over. He will be bored there.
