He's right. Lakers got owned. With that said, it's still 2-1 lakers, with a chance to make it 3-1 before the season is over.

if the first two games were in portland it would likely be 2-1 portland.

Actually, no. I think I might have evidence to back it up. Check it out:

Wow.... words can't even describe that guy... I'm speechless.

Well, that settles it, since there clearly can only be one person who goes by "mixum" in the world.

OH SHIT! Welcome to one of my favorite players of all-time Joel! GO Joel "The Thrilla, The Vanilla Gorilla, The White Godzilla" Przybilla!

Kobe said last fall that he had March 9th circled on his calendar because of the Lakers' losing streak in Portland. So now, after reading Przybilla's quote, what's he going to do? Circle AND highlight April 10?

Circle, highlight, and paste a Hello Kitty sticker.

not to rain on the parade, but our Mixum has claimed to live on the East coast (Connecticut I think) many times... not Las Vegas

I'm still claiming the dude is a Laker fan.

Too much smoke to claim there's no fire.

And not to rain on the parade, but our Mixum has also claimed to be a Blazer fan...

Suck on it, LA. And afterwards you can tell me how my ass taste. You little fucking lap dogs.

I am starting to think the Blazers don't like the Lakers much :drumroll:.

Actually, I think the Blazers are starting to hate the Lakers as much as I do.

In the next game, the officials will have to call it really tight. Otherwise, I predict a brawl.

Which would honestly be fine with me. Someone needs to kick that bitch Odom into the dirt.

he could easily lie about that too
Sure he could I guess, but what purpose would that lie serve? I can understand why someone might claim to be a fan of one team while secretly being a fan of their rival... you get to needle those fans with your heartfelt observations. But whether thats the case or not, why would he be lying about where he lives... are on-line Blazer fans he'll never meet going to think less of him if they think he lives in Vegas rather then Connecticut? Why year after year would he pretend to be attending Blazer games in Boston?

No, but before I put him on ignore, I sometimes felt like going to his house and beating him down, so maybe it's better that he lie.

This, along with Bayless' "Fuck, Telfair" comment is a sign of good things to come. Not that I condone swearing, but the mental toughness that we're adding will become very valuable.

Wheres Zack when he could be of some real help? :devilwink:

While Im not a fan of players making chalkboard material like this, if it takes the Blazers beating the Lakers last night, and Joel stating what is the obvious, that's pretty sad for the Lakers.

They could win the April game, but it won't be because of what Joel said after the game. Actually, it shouldn't be. They should be motivated already to win, because the Blazers have beaten them a fair amount in Portland and they need to get all the W's they can to retain/achieve HCA in the playoffs/finals. The Lakers haven't taken Portland seriously (in Portland) for a long time.

And for all the talk about not being a rival, we all know that we are. It might not be on the level of Boston (in their prime) or the Spurs, but it is. Everyone knows, even Laker fans, that this honestly bugs the hell out of Laker fans and players that they can't beat Portland in Portland. And not like when fans get upset that their team has a loss they have no business losing (like the Lakers with Charlotte, and Portland with the Clippers).

Those suck, but this one burns deep.

Had the situation been reversed (Lakers winning), it would've "proven" that they own Portland, and somehow that Oden sucks.

Had it been Kobe that was injured on a similar play, Laker fans would probably have sent in death threats to the player who fouled him, and accused that player of all but murder.

Woo! I finally a post before a thread was closed to deleted!
