Now, the 360 is like the PS2 with all the games, better sales, out longer, cheaper, and has GTA. PS3 is failing right now mainly because of their games and the price.

Of course it doesn't have a ton of games out, it just came out 5-6 months ago. The PS3 is already the best system right now, it will only get alot better. </span>
 
I guess I beter start saving if I want to get PS3 before Madden and 2K8. Aslo GTA. Maybe SvR 08.Games are a rip off

It's pricey and it's a knock on the PS3. </span>

Most people were willing to wait to see if it would live up to the hype and if they could make it without issues. Let me explain why I would knock the price. I am in college. I already have a ton of debt, and daddy certainly doesn't pay for me to buy a bunch of superfluous garbage. In your case, you can pretty much get what you want without inconvenience. I cannot. I really can't even afford a 360, but I can tell you I would buy a 360 before a PS3 because I don't need a bluray player (it is nice, but once again, I don't need it). For some people it is simply a worthwhile upgrade, but for us living in the world where we have to support ourselves to some extent, yeah, it's too much.

I tried looking for another one for my friend, but they raised the price to $75... unfortunately.P.S. 360 > PS3, both right now and in the future. 360 just has way more to offer than the PS3 does, especially in the online gameplay department.And the reason the PS3 (supposedly) sold more on release than the 360 did was because Microsoft screwed up in supplying them. There was a crazy shortage for the 360, thus they didn't sell as many as PS3 did. 360's were sold out, PS3's weren't... there are two sides to every coin, so to say PS3 is in more demand than the 360 was when they were both first released is absurd.

Because your telling people to not use the price tag as a knock but you really have no room to talk. You didn't even buy the system yourself, so how can you tell people to not knock the price?I think if someone plopped 600 bucks on this system, they would not be happy right now. Just wondering if you got connections.</div>No, it's because I'll need a wireless connection and getting the one for Xbox is 75-100 bucks more and then 50 bucks a year for live and I really wanted to get the more expensive black one. And it's just not worth it for me when I can't get Gears or Halo anyway. I'd be getting the same games on PS3 with free online gaming. Not as good but good enough.
