This is one of 3 high-rise towers PSU plans to build:

Nice. Maybe with more dorms, they can get more people living on campus, shift slightly from being totally a commuter school, and improve abit in football and basketball.

I spent a year in PSU dump dorms in 1980. The cock roaches were so think they nearly carried me around.

Yeah, maybe they'll rape their students even harder. The price of dorms is ridiculous. I swear, the way universities rip off the people attending them, you'd think they would be arrested for theft.

Multicolored building, now thats attractive!

Seriously though I agree that some universities rape studies in dorm housing costs. You would think that universities would try to find other buildings or pieces of land to make it more accessible for students to stay and attend classes on campus.

Has anyone noticed that this district is really starting to develop?

The list:

*Three 15+story Dorm buildings.
*Multi-level rec center
*Cyan - 16-story condo building.
*Sustainability Center High-Rise building.
*Ladd Tower high-rise.

I love all these present/future developments!

Most of those seem public-sector promoted. I want to see more private investment downtown.

Yea, the rec center is the shit, everything is state of the art, I just recently got a job there, it's sick everyone in the area should check it out, except that its really expensive if your not a student.
