Less than Zero. He would have written it in sharpie. Besides , Trump doesn't have the ability to write that. If he wrote a letter to the House, it would appear as though it came from a third grader.

That would be an insult to 3rd graders. :bgrin:

He still didn't write it

Nor does he drive himself to meetings, or fly bombers over Syria.

He's the Leader of the Free World, and Obama left him a huge mess to clean up after his 8-year party on the taxpayers' dollars.

His job is to hire the best people to get his policies and programs enacted quickly and successfully, and fire the ones who fail or obstruct.

He has a staff for menial tasks.

If that seems impractical to you, you can write a letter of complaint to: 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. 20500, U.S

The fraudulent House impeachment effort has matters exactly backward. President Trump didn’t commit high crimes, he is a crime victim. If anyone should be put on trial in the Senate, it is Rep. Adam Schiff.

The more facts continue to be revealed about the deep state coup attempt against the president, the worse Schiff looks. Justice Department Inspector General Horowitz’s report and hearing testimony last week on the abuse of the FISA process is the latest evidence of the collusion between members of Obama’s FBI and the Clinton campaign to try to destroy Donald Trump.

The IG findings, which further tied the Bureau to promoting the Clinton-funded and wholly fabricated Steele dossier, are parallel to the Mueller investigation’s findings that the Russian collusion narrative was a big lie. Yet this phony narrative became the basis for the FBI to lie to the courts and to the American people, and to break the law to target President Trump.

The current impeachment farce builds on this model, using a manufactured scandal, amplified through the media echo chamber, and orchestrated by one of the central Congressional plotters in Russiagate, Adam Schiff.

The Horowitz report proves what we at Judicial Watch have been saying for some time, that Schiff has consistently lied, dissembled and misled when it comes to the Russian collusion hoax. In 2018 Schiff insisted that the “DOJ met the rigor, transparency and evidentiary basis needed to meet FISA’s probable cause requirement.” We now know that this was not true; in fact the FBI fabricated evidence to get what it wanted.

Schiff said the FBI did not hide relevant or exculpatory information from judges when seeking FISA warrants. This also was false; exculpatory evidence regarding Carter Page was consistently and systematically omitted from the process. And Schiff maintained what all the Russia collusion hoaxsters agreed upon, that the FBI did not rely primarily on the Clinton-funded and 100% discredited Steele dossier to convince the courts to issue the warrants. Again, a total lie; according to the Horowitz report the dossier plated the “central and essential role” in the illicit process.

Schiff’s Russiagate misconduct set the stage for his central role in the Democrats’ Plan B impeachment effort: the Ukraine hoax. But the impeachment by the House can still be stopped by announcing now that Adam Schiff would be required to testify in a Senate mini-trial concerning his role in concocting this scandal.

Specifically, the Senate should not proceed to full consideration of any impeachment referral from the House until it evaluates the serious evidence of prosecutorial misconduct by House impeachment leader Schiff. If it is clear that Schiff and his coup cabal will have to answer tough questions in the Senate, the House impeachment effort may collapse rather than risk exposure of its core abuses.

Schiff’s misconduct includes but is not limited to his collusion with the whistleblower and those who leaked information related to the complaint. The timeline of these events, Schiff’s role in them, and his staff’s contacts with the whistleblower, all need to be investigated.

Schiff also stunned Washington when he subpoenaed and released private phone records of his political enemies in his impeachment report.

Schiff’s underhanded move was ethically – as well as legally – suspect. He spied on a fellow member of Congress (Rep. Devin Nunes), on a working journalist (John Solomon), and the president’s personal lawyers (Rudy Giuliani and Jay Sekulow). Like President Trump, these innocent Americans are victims of Schiff’s undoubtedly illicit and potentially criminal abuse of power.

In addition to perhaps stopping impeachment dead, pursuing this preliminary hearing would be an effective way for Schiff and a limited number of other witnesses to testify so that the public is educated about the sham. This could expose the abusive nature of the impeachment and its fraudulent predicates without the need for a full-blown Senate trial.

Independent voter on Pelosi's reason for impeachment: 'She's insulting my intelligence'
By Victor Garcia | Fox News

A voter who confronted an Oklahoma congresswoman over the impeachment of President Trump told Fox News Tuesday she was inspired to speak out after hearing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., say that "our Constitution was at stake" if the president was not impeached.

"I'm not a political person by any means. And I was watching the television and Speaker Pelosi looked at me and said, 'Our constitution is at stake if we don't impeach the president.' And then she went on to tell me that this is not a political matter," Susan Jaslow, an independent voter in Oklahoma, told "The Story with Martha MacCallum. "And I was just highly insulted. She's insulting my intelligence. I mean, that's absolutely ludicrous."

DEM REP FROM TRUMP DISTRICT FACES ROWDY TOWN HALL, BOOS AFTER BACKING IMPEACHMENT

Jaslow recently attended a town hall hosted by Rep. Kendra Horn, D-Okla., who is one of 31 House Democrats elected from a district Trump carried in 2016, and advised the congresswoman to not vote for impeachment.

"He's a duly elected president and I feel it is not your responsibility to take somebody that was duly elected out of office. Let me do that," Jaslow told Horn at the Dec. 8th meeting. "So, as an independent voter, I think you're in a lot of trouble if you vote for this impeachment."

Horn announced Tuesday that she would vote in favor of impeachment.

Jaslow called Horn's announcement dishonest and accused the congresswoman of nullifying her vote.

"I felt she had no right to do that. Let the voters, 63 million people that voted for Trump leave him in office or take him out," Jaslow said. "And she had no right to do that."

The Democrat-led House Rules Committee on Tuesday dove into a marathon session to prepare the ground rules for what is likely to be a furious showdown on the House floor to adopt articles of impeachment against Trump.

Jaslow called for an end to partisan "bickering" and warned there are many who feel the same way she does.

"We're very mad. We're very angry. We just want our country back," Jaslow said. "We want everybody to play nice."

Letter from President Donald J. Trump to the Speaker of the House of Representatives

Issued on: December 17, 2019

The Honorable Nancy Pelosi
Speaker of the House of Representatives
Washington, D.C. 20515

Dear Madam Speaker:

I’d call you a cunt, but that would be an insult to cunts.

Sincerely yours,

DONALD J. TRUMP
President of the United States of America

cc: United States Senate
United States House of Representatives

TLDR for everyone lol

Correct. Impeachment proceedings were begun but he quit instead. Point still holds. Was it treason to initiate impeachment against him? Or just Trump?
Articles of impeachment were written. It was a matter of days if not hours. Nixon saved everyone a lot of grief and then Ford further inflamed the matter.

Trump approval rises, support for impeachment drops in new poll
By Paul Steinhauser | Fox News

Trump trashes Democrats and impeachment process: It’s a mark on our country

President Trump accuses Pelosi of declaring war on democracy; John Roberts reports.

A new poll released hours before the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives was poised to impeach President Trump indicates that by a 51-45 percent majority, Americans oppose removing the president from office.

The survey – released Wednesday morning by Gallup – also points to a drop in support for impeachment from October, when the inquiry into Trump got underway. At that time, according to Gallup, Americans supported impeachment by a 52-46 margin. And the poll, which was conducted Dec. 2-15, indicates that the Republican incumbent’s approval rating has edged up the past two months – from 39 percent in October to 45 percent now – as the House held blockbuster public hearings.

While all the surveys indicate a deep partisan divide between Democrats and Republicans over impeachment, most of the polls suggest that a majority of independent voters oppose booting Trump from the White House.

Surveys from Quinnipiac University, Gallup, PBS/NPR/Marist, and USA Today/Suffolk University all point to a majority of independents opposed to impeaching and removing the president from office.

And the polls also spotlight a gender divide – with majorities of men opposing and women supporting – on impeaching and removing Trump from the White House.

The surveys also show an uptick in the president’s approval rating from October to December.

The GOP-controlled Senate is expected to acquit Trump.

Unlike Trump, I have read the Constitution. I have a copy, courtesy of my membership in American Civil Liberties Union.

Maris never answers questions, just copies and pasted drivel from right wing web sites.

I answer intelligent questions pertaining to reality.

The fact you continually refer to all conservative opinions and successes as "drivel" and the largest, most popular cable news organization in the history of the world as a "right wing web site" indicates why your questions are not to be taken seriously.

Nixon was not impeached, nor was he ever charged with a crime.

Johnson was obviously something we can never really know the facts about.

Reagan was not impeached either, though the Dems tried mightily to do so.

Clinton was easily convicted of 9 Felony counts, and disbarred, but mysteriously did not die in prison as he should have.

As today's circus has revealed, Dems are trying to Impeach without any basis, without any crimes mentioned, just because they are immature, hateful, anti-American losers who want to overthrow the Constitution and deny American citizens the right to vote for their representatives.

That is clearly treasonous.

It's not playing out well for them at all and the party is quickly making a mockery out of themselves.

Trump is pretty much guaranteed a huge win in 2020, doesn't really have to even campaign.

No you don't.

Clinton was easily convicted of 9 Felony counts

What were those felonies? When was he convicted? By what court? You should be able to answer those questions.

Unless, of course, the truth is that he was convicted of zero felonies, and you are making stuff up?

barfo

Nixon would have been impeached and charged hence his resignation and Pardon from Ford

Trump will be impeached today. He will be saved by the Republicans in the senate. A shame they have sold their souls, latched to Trumps ass like Barnacles on the hull of a ship. I can't tell where Trump ends and they begin. Hopefully, enough of them will find they have a conscience and sustain the Houses's finding. Won't happen, but hey he will be impeached.

Dems are on a wild goose chase. They've always wanted to impeach Trump and probably will, but the Senate won't remove. It all comes down to the votes and the makeup of Congress/Senate and will be down party lines. Nothing will be done based on any kind of evidence, the Dems hate Trump and will vote to impeach him no matter what (this has been their goal since day 1) and the republicans will vote to keep him there no matter what.

Its a huge waste of time to follow for most normal people with things going on in their lives. If you hate Trump though, it may give you some jerk off material, much like the Mueller probe but will ultimately leave you unsatisfied. If you are a Trump supporter, it will just show you how the dems are targeting Trump and have been.
If they Dems wanted to impeach him from Day 1, why did they vote against Impeachment three times? They tried to avoid it but ultimately, had no choice but to do their job.

I'm not sure why the Republicans are so against the impeachment ultimately. If he was removed from office, Mike Pence would be President. They'd still have a Republican in office. Why sink their careers and reputations by backing Trump?

That's a question you likely won't get an answer to...or at least one that makes sense.

Why the actual Republican politicians back Trump?

Because the people who voted for Trump would have voted for him with just about any vice president running mate. Nobody likes Pence. If the R politicians vote to convict Trump they face the voters over it. The same reason the D's in swing states said they had to think about.

Not sure why it is even a question.

Pelosi's strategy is sinisterly brilliant.

She's going to let Trump marinate over impeachment and is stonewalling the Republicans quick exoneration.

Squirm Trump squirm!

Though I don't care for her, I gotta admit, she's a helluva poker player.
