12pm, at the Coliseum.

Doors open at 11. Not a bad way to spend a lunch break. I'm going to go and pay my respects to Luke.

PORTLAND – There will be a public service at Memorial Coliseum Monday to honor former Portland Trail Blazer Maurice “The Enforcer” Lucas, who died Sunday after a battle with bladder cancer.

The service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Doors will open at 11:00 a.m.

The Blazers honored Lucas Monday night with a moment of silence during the game against the Chicago Bulls. They planned another moment of silence Tuesday night during their game in Milwaukee.

The Trail Blazers also dedicated their 2010-2011 season to Lucas.

During the 1976-77 championship season, Lucas joined averaged a team-high 20.2 points and grabbed 11.2 rebounds per game. His number, 20, was retired by the Blazers in 1988.

I just made reservations to fly in for the day. Luke gave me some of my greatest sporting memories as a child. Paying my respects is the least I can do. I plan on sitting in the seats my dad--then I--held as season ticket holders and where I saw the Blazers win a little contest on June 5, 1977.

That's really cool, maxiep. Perhaps I'll see you there.

Wish I could escape work.... I paid my respects during the OKC game I guess, very emotional stuff with the whole family there. Can't imagine what its going to be like today.

That tribute video brought a tear to my eye.

Classy move bringing the championship trophy to the memorial.

It takes a lot for a man like Nate to cry. They were very close!

Will they post the whole thing? I turned it on late and would like to see the whole thing.

I'm sure it will be available to watch on the new trailblazers.tv site tomorrow.
Joel did a great job.

Frank Brickowski & Joel!

Wow, what Frank just said at the Lucas memorial was special.

Hell of a good job by a nervous Joel.

I heard from a friend at The Game that Bill Walton and Bill Russell are going to speak, but they dont know for sure if they ended up being able to get to PDX.

Classy move by Jarrett Jack:

That's beautiful Maxie. You are a true superfan!

Bill Russell made it yet Walton didn't?!?

It's not like the Blazer team plane just wasn't in LA last night.

Wow, she did a really version of Bridge of troubled water.
