So you saying we are fish?
I'm saying the similar reasons fish may do certain things we do certain things. It's all about getting laid man, symmetry and/or proportional relationships are often used to demonstrate fitness. That's why we end up with so many things in nature that use the fibonacci sequence. The sequence is basically in looking at numbers the previous two numbers added together. 0+1 =1, 1+1=2, 1
2=3, 2+3=5, 3+5=8 and so on, so the numbers are 0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34, 55, 89, 144 and so on. Many plants show the Fibonacci numbers in the arrangement of the leaves around the stem. Some pine cones and fir cones also show the numbers, as do daisies and sunflowers. Sunflowers can contain the number 89, or even 144. Many other plants, such as succulents, also show the numbers. Some coniferous trees show these numbers in the bumps on their trunks. And palm trees show the numbers in the rings on their trunks. Then we also see that number in shells like in the chambered Nautilus, sections in dolphins. Even the cochlea in our ears follow this sequence.
There have also been studies showing the symmetry of eyes on ones sexual appeal. Basically there are lots of inbred patterns that attract us, and then if you go and look at how primitive are up through now, artists that have been considered noteworthy and beautiful tend to also follow these same sequences or proportional relationships.
