Didn't we get some kind of trade-exception/s in the Gerald Wallace or Marcus Camby trades last year?

I believe the only trade exception we have is 3.5 from Felton.

We were over the cap last year, so salaries had to match.

We wont have Hickson's Bird Rights but wont' we have some other right that will let us go over the cap to sign him? Kind of like how Odom signed with the Lakers without his Bird rights.

Claver and Freeland were both signed with cap room, neither was signed to a rookie wage scale deal. So in order to have any of that room, all TPEs had to be renounced at the start of the signing period to sign these guys to something other than what would have normally been offered to late first round picks.

In any case it doesn't really matter; we only have the single Felton TPE regardless of the reason and a scant amount of cap room left to do anything until next summer.

All I know is Olshey said by signing him to one year, we would then have his Bird rights?
