You think I'm Chad Buchanan?
He believes it in his heart, and you can't prove otherwise!

LOL no... My sarcasm is bad?
You really can't figure this out? Management has a huge vested interest in Oden, seeing as he is a #1 pick and the supposed "savior" of the franchise. They are hoping like mad that he's going to make a comeback one of these days and make them all look like geniuses for drafting him. In short, they have too much invested in him to give up just yet.Look: if the organization figured Greg isn't going to play again, why pay him ANYTHING? Why not just let him go?

They can dream as much as they want to, but that doesn't mean the rest of us have to.
I agree with your post, completetly. Guess I'm still confused as to how that article was translated into exactly what the title indicates.... Did I miss something in the article?

BTW, did you hear that Zach Randolph has a torn MCL...and is projected to be back in 6-8 WEEKS.
It wasn't that long ago that a torn MCL was a season ending/career threatening injury. It is amazing what the combination of modern medicine and a motivated patient can achieve.
You don't understand the concept of "sunk cost" do you?
