Anyone else just listen to him? Wow! Starts off by saying Roy is his favorite athlete in all of sports and then precedes to rip him. Called him a baby, will never be an all star again, money has gone to his head, needs to come off the bench.

I know some of you have been saying similar things but it was odd to hear Quick just go off on him like that.

Quick is right on all accounts though most likely.

What did he say about Ass clown getting canned, or Cho actually being proactive in trade taks and not just evaluating the roster?

Said Cho is looking to make a trade to make Roy happy.

Somebody send me a link to the podcast! I am going to let Brandon listen to this...... no joke!

Yea well I am not sure what anybody is expecting to hear at this point. That is pretty much the news these days.

what a mistake if we cater to Roy and dump Miller

A mistake in what regard? Do you think this team is making the playoffs with Miller as PG? Not saying it is Miller's fault, but he's easily the most valuable trade chip right now both in terms of production and contract status.

I'm glad to hear this ... I mean he's here for the next 4 years no matter what, so we might as well get comfy.

How long until fans at the RG start to boo Brandon?

Once that starts, I'm done as a fan. I've never booed a Blazer player for any reason, and we've had plenty of reason to boo some of them.

They won't get another dime from me if the "fans" turn on Roy like that. I won't be a part of that. I'm bringing my entire family to Friday's game against Minnesota, and that would be as good a time as any for fickle fans to boo. Luckily, I don't think it will happen, since most fans aren't as negative as posters on boards like this one.

Quick thinks Cho is "feeling the pressure". Gee, ya think?

I agree on his value as a chip, the "mistake" is getting a player Brandon wants vs getting the best player for the future of the team

I don't think that these things have to be mutually exclusive.

Nice. So you get an up close view of the Kevin Love show.

I won't boo Roy. He didn't ask for the injuries to happen to him, and nobody here on this board would turn down a fat contract if offered to them in the same situation. As long as he plays hard and tries his best I will root for him here.

I boo Roy mentally when he says selfish shit to the press. I would never boo any player on the court just because his body can't do what his mind still thinks it can. At least he isn't mailing it in. That would be different.

Why are we still trying to cater to Roy? He is NOT the cornerstone of our franchise anymore. We paid 88 million for a VERY good sixth man. Hopefully Roy will realize just how much more effective he could be going against the bench versus the starters. If we lose against Dallas I'm hoping McMillan will make a shift and move roy to the bench and return Batum to the SF and put Matthews as the SG. That is what needs to be done. Does McMillan have the balls to bench our old cornerstone of the franchise? Who knows, but its pretty obvious this would help the team in the long run.

If Roy balks at coming off the bench then I'm done with Roy. Matthews is by FAR the better SG right now. And Batum is a better SF than Roy. End of story.

Canzano is such a dumbass.

First, some old coot calls in and says Roy should take less money. Great idea, except it is against the current CBA, so bashing Roy at this point for that is stupid. Canzano just let's it go.

Next, some fool calls in and says that Roy was "shut down" during the Houston playoff series, and that's why the team lost. Um, Roy had a PER of 26 for that series, but yet again, Canzano just laughs and agrees.

Does anyone have a phone number for this shit show? I've checked out their website, but apparently they decided that hiding the live phone line to their shows is a good idea.

Roy is the only perimeter player that consistently gets a double-team. The rest of your post kind of is irrelevant, unless you can find a better offensive player to eat up a double-team. If you think the offense sucks now, wait until only LMA can get a double once in a while.

Exactly my thoughts as well.
