I think in today's world we get so caught up in the black and white: "you are either with us or against us!" And in the reality, most often, things are nuanced and somewhere in the middle. This is especially true of online forum discussion.

I think Cronin has been fine, which I guess correlates to "fair" in the above poll. None of his moves have been so exceptional to warrant top honors, and none of his moves have proven catastrophic (and yes, even the hated Clippers just looks like straight "meh" in retrospect). You can argue that he failed Dame as many have, but it also seems very likely that the market in no way cooperated. And some will argue this is the direction we should have taken for years anyway.

The jury is still out on Cronin, and frankly in my view, anyone who argues strongly otherwise (either in support or against) is probably doing so to bolster their own preconceived narratives and biases.

I think this franchise really missed an opportunity to pick one direction and empower 1 GM to do the job well very when Neil was fired. That is a failure of ownership. I'm hoping Cronin can build some young talent and future picks here for the long term; eventually we get a new owner then can try to push to win. I hate the idea of adding starter level players in a Dame trade now as there is no way for this franchise to compete soon. That will just set us up for longer term failures.

No -- Nate this is sad that the fan base is so stupid and I blame this front office for turning the fans into a bunch of clueless lemmings who believe the crap and are eating it up ... like you and many others

watching this fanbase go from pretty smart to a bunch of clowns makes me sad and pisses me off cause as much as some might think I enjoy being a total a-hole ... I do not like it at all but it is what it is and as long as the fans are acting like clowns you will be treated as such by me.

You know Nate -- I follow the truth .... not the made up BS that Vulcan and Cronin put out there for the media who do not want to get on the team's bad side so they eat it up and only lightly question it for the most part. Heck re-listen to the draft presser that might have been one of the first times I can remember where the media did not just roll over and kiss there ass. Almost every question was a hard hitter and that clown could barely answer them without back tracking on stuff he already said --- this is a big reason I cannot believe you people still buy this load of crap from him and the higher ups.

You guys are so happy with scoot ( the new shiny toy ) that you do not even see the BS that they did. What if the Blazers did not end up with a Dame replacement would you all still be cutting that loser the same slack ?

I doubt it --- Cronin got lucky that the Hornets are complete tools and of course got some lotto luck too.
