Glen Davis was fined for yelling at a fan for calling him "Fat" and "Chubbs"

Anyone down to heckle the hell out of 'big baby?'

LoL!

I tried to at the game last season, where we beat them without B-Roy in the line-up, but I was too far away to have much of an impact. Now, Sean May, on the other hand... that poor boy got a couple of ear-fulls from me at the pre-season game. I'd dubbed him as "Krispy Kreme" early on in the night and continued to ride his ass all game long. I had Tyreke Evans, some other Kings bench scrubs, & a security guard laughing so hard that none of them could concentrate on what they were supposed to be doing. I was in the 4th row behind the Kings bench that night and had an absolute BLAST!

haha no doubt. This is one thing I'm really looking forward to seeing. KG is known for beating up on the rookies and young guys, and most of them will just back down. But Jeff will mess it up with him if KG tries to start some crap. This should be good.

It'll never happen. KG is too much of a pussy to start (and finish) something with a player big and strong enough to beat his skinny ass to a bloody pulp.

KG chooses his targets carefully. It's always a much smaller player (Calderon, Bayless, Peeler, etc.) or an unathletic, white guy (Pachulia, Bonner, etc.).

It's always a cheap shot when the player is looking the other way and then Garnett ALWAYS, ALWAYS retreats (AKA, runs away).

He knows he'll never get ejected or suspended for the initial cheap shot. His knows his ass is covered by the NBA's Superstar Protection Program (TM).

He also knows that the player who retailiates is the one likely to get ejected or suspended.

So, his pattern is consistent: cheap shot on unsuspecting, physically inferior player followed by running away before anyone gets a chance to punch him in his ugly, arrogant, cowardly face.

If he does get in a cheap shot on Pendergraph look for Granett to backpedal away so fast your head will spin. He'll be hiding on the bench before Penergraph has a chance to deck his ass.

I'd rather see a return to the old days of the designated enforcer. If Garnett delivers a cheap shot on one of our guards, next time down the court, Perndergraph takes one for the team and bloodies Garnett's nose, loosens a few teeth, or cracks a rib with a visicous, well-placed elbow. Nobody will dare fuck with our guards if one of our bigs has their backs.

A lot of people forget last year at the Rose Garden KG and a couple teammates tried to make their way down to the Blazers locker room after the game. Couldn't handle getting punked by the Blazers without our best player.

and a poor sport, and just an overall douche.

lol. Watch this video. Dwight doesn't even flinch when KG punches at his arm. Fuckin hilarious, it didn't even bother Howard at all[video=youtube;HGCn6-uIfRY]

Anyone who has bashed Quick for not knowing what he is talking about when it comes to the Blazers is not allowed to bash KG for this.

At a recent Knicks v Celtics game, Stoudemire dropped 39 on K.G. and K.G. went off... not on Amare of course, he sprayed a bunch of profanity at Spike Lee. Here is what one Yahoo! Blogger said about K.G.:
"Well, that certainly sounds like Garnett, who seems to spend most of time using anything on the court as an excuse to get angry and psyched up to pull out a victory. Of course, it's also very much Garnett to not take out that anger on the source of it and instead chew out a defenseless bystander."

Haha. What a punk ass bitch. link

The one thing I always remember was him getting on the floor and barking at Bayless. I couldn't help but think at the time that Bayless should have charged right at him and plowed into him on the ground

Man, GO beasted last year against them: [video=youtube;pSG0wSuTt68]

This video just depresses the hell out of me.

Bayless, Matthews, Batum, 2011 Aldridge, Oden......That is a very good team. Bayless would have thrived with that group

Wow! Not only did the ref not call it the first time, he didn't even get a flagrant? He should have been ejected. There is no fucking way a player can punch another player with a closed fist, twice, and not get ejected, is there?

He knows he'll never get ejected or suspended for the initial cheap shot. His knows his ass is covered by the NBA's Superstar Protection Program (TM).

Hmm, I guess there is.

I'd pay to see Dwight hit him back.
I'm dreaming of the day LaMarcus clocks Garnett. Of course, he'll get ejected, but it will send the message. That day will be the changing of the guard, the day LaMarcus establishes his ownership of the NBA. :)

First off, KG is a punk ass little bitch. Ok, now that that's out of the way, I don't think the "barking" was that big of deal. I don't actually think he was taunting. I think he was trying to basically hide from the inbounder and or Bayless and surprise them and steal the inbounds, but then again, I wasn't there and didn't see it live, just its brief glimpse on TV and the replays.

I remember it appeared to be more of a taunt than anything. He was smacking the floor. I don't think he'd do that if he was trying to hide.

someone should have beaten the shit out of garnett a long time ago. fake tough guy. hopefully next time he plays orl he get punch drunk from a dwight howard elbow like big baby. garnett is 100% douchebag.

I expected at least a 10 game suspension. By far the most unsportsmanlike action I've ever witnessed.

This league is an embarrassment under Stern.

I remember watching that, and my blood pressure sky rocketing into my head, and wishing Bayless would bounce the ball as hard as he could off the floor and right into Garnett's face. Guess I can be a bit of a hot head, LOL.

Anyone hear that this morning?

I know it's a year later, but is there a link, or was this just on the radio? If radio, why hasn't Quick written a prominent article about this? Because he's only interested in tearing down his own team?

Apparently, (while Garnett was still playing for the T-Wolves), KG was taking part in the post-game press conference. Quick indicated that there was an apparent reluctance on the press folks' part to ask questions (and, for good reason ;) ). So, Quick being the bold guy that he is asks, "KG, how did you guys lose the game tonight (against the Blazers)?" KG then bent over and grabbed Quick's media pass (kind of snapping Quick's neck), glares at it, asks, "Who the _____ are you?!", then scoffs at him without answering the question.

Quick basically said that KG is one of, if not the, most disliked players in the NBA.....by press and players alike. Total jerk.

Why can't the Oregonian spend its anger on players on other teams, instead of on Blazers like Sheed, Bonzi, etc.? I might like their moral cruasading if it were against other teams, but it's always been against their own team. They have destroyed the trade values of Sheed, Zach, etc.

A lot of people forget last year at the Rose Garden KG and a couple teammates tried to make their way down to the Blazers locker room after the game. Couldn't handle getting punked by the Blazers without our best player.

Wow, again, I'd love to read about this, though I know it's an old link. If you don't have one, can you at least tell me who the players were? I probably read it at the time, but forgot because no one has mentioned it since. This is a memory we should keep alive.

They have destroyed the trade values of Sheed, Zach, etc.

i believe that value was lowered by their technical fouls and criminal records. The Oregonian cant hide their faults. both teams played hard my man.

The Oregonian was on a religious mission to bring down the Blazers as constituted. You can't deny that, if you read their stuff at the time and saw how prominently they placed it on the page, and pushed it in the faces of fans who wanted to like the team.

Because our hayseed city paper magnified every tiny detail, the slant was read in all cities and affected trade values.

In Seattle, Sonic Rashard Lewis was busted for speeding on a narrow bridge in the middle of the night. No one cared. The media reported it once and didn't harp on it, so no one there or nationally remembers. That's how a non-hayseed media covers such things. He then signed a $100M contract with Orlando.

We got nothing for Zach and little for Sheed because of the Oregonian.

What did NY get for Zach? How about the Clippers?

Was that the Oregonian's fault as well?

This made me laugh out loud. Thanks you for posting it.

I think he was trying to confuse the Blazers, making them wonder why there was a barking dog on the court. This makes more sense, since the next game he did the caterpillar while Jose Calderon was bringing the ball up the court.

Furthermore, what did Atlanta get for Sheed?

That's because even after leaving the Blazers, trade values continue to be damaged by past Oregonian campaigns. For the same reason, some writers still call us the Jailblazers.

Was that the Oregonian's fault as well?

100%. Why, are you saying he did anything wrong there to get traded? The NY media hated him because of what they'd read in the Oregonian. No other reason.

Chortle.

That's the problem with little provincial places like New York. They subscribe to the big city paper (the Big O) and they just parrot what they read there trying to look intelligent. Oh, the times in American when people were proud of being part of a small town, when the put a stake in the ground and pitched their tent and proudly said "it might not be big and luxurious like the Governor hotel in Portland, Oregon, but it's my house and my town, damnit".

You don't seem to know how the Associated Press works. A local paper writes and prints an article, which includes local bias. "AP picks up the story," which means, they shorten it and send it over the wire.

When you read a full AP article about the Blazers in small local papers around the country, you are usually reading a reprint from the Oregonian (shortened). Of course, this doesn't include when the Blazers play in a city and the local media there writes their own game article.

A few exceptional papers depend less on AP, and the New York Times is one. But most New Yorkers read other papers, and even Times writers must be influenced by the stream of AP articles they read, originating with the Oregonian.

Now I read a couple of national NBA writers who think Pritchard is God, and I know they've been influenced by the Portland media.
