I'd guess the combine will reveal these two to be substantially different as far as speed. Drew is/was really really fast posting
a blazing electronically measured 40 time of 4.39 seconds at his combine, which made him the fastest RB in his class. Jacquizz seems to have okay speed at best. I'd guess he comes in at his combine in the 4.6 range. Despite having months to focus on the combine tests (like the 40) it's pretty common for players to post higher times at the combine then their collegiate media guide claim & the draft sites echo... we shall see whats really what on this
Regardless, I think this is a good decision because of the short shelf life reasons others have pointed to. Had he returned next season, his stock would have been unlikely to rise much (if any) as his size & and lack of top end speed concerns won't go away. He is shifty and decisive in his cuts though and at nearly 200 pounds he's a solid sure-handed option who could have a decent career in the NFL. Dude had a tremendous impact for Oregon State... best of luck to him
