What a loss. He turned to country music and was one of the best practitioners of the craft (in a genre filled with incredible guitarists).

"I'd Love to Change the World" is one of my all time favorite classic rock songs. Love the guitar solo. I'm going to pull out the LP tonight and give it a listen in his honor. RIP and thanks for the great music!

The Ten Years After album right before their single Love to Change the World got no radio play, but every song on it was really good. My brother brought it home and I was surprised how good it was for a group as yet unknown to radio listeners.

Not true at all... that's the music I grew up with and I'm only in my 20's. I was just going through some old vinyls the other day and was remarking about how many Ten Years After records we had, live and studio, at the house I grew up in.

Anyways, this is horrible news... kinda caught me off guard.

A great lingering psychedelic ending left you lost in thought...

8. "As the Sun Still Burns Away" (Alvin Lee) – 4:44

This bad new version doesn't end with that.

9. "Warm Sun" - 3:08
10. "To No One" - 3:49

Tracks 9 and 10 are reissue bonus
