So with Kawhi lileky being out the rest of the year for a Spurs team that has 17 of their remaining 22 games against above .500 teams...

And now the Timberwolves could be without Jimmy Butler for a while...

It looks like the race for the 3 seed is wide-open, with OKC, MIN, SAS, DEN, and POR having a legit chance at it.

It's been wide open. Spurs have been without Kawhi all year. Nothing new here. Butler's injury changes a lot though. We looked really good against Minnesota last time we played them without Butler. Portland is an experienced team that is used to these pressure games. Denver is not. I think 3 seed is there for us to take. People say our schedule is tough but all we're doing is playing the inconsistent teams in front of us. OKC, SA, Denver, Minnesota. We can beat those teams. Must take care of home cooking as the season will close with lots of road games but we showed tonight that we can win pressure games on road against good teams. Our team is extremely well coached.

outstanding take, nuff said.

Like to see the Blazers upset all the media by taking the 3rd spot. Ignored, as usual, and playing top notch B-Ball right now. There's more coverage on the mediocre talent known as Gonzo Ball right now. Media are Laker jock sniffers. OKC stories are everywhere. But little to none on the quality, YOUNG, up and comers from the Rose City. Denver, as well, gets no mention either. Lakers are no where near as talented as either the Blazers, or the Nuggets, and don't have as much talent, but there they are, all over ESPN's NBA page. Makes me sick, but that's fine, there's a huge possibility, one ,or both of these forgotten talented teams make the top 4 when it's all said and done.
