I saw Shirley Hemphill from What's Happening at Zany's in Nashville, TN back in 85 or 86. Friggin' hilarious. My buddy and I sat front and center and she gave us hell. Army haircuts, wearing dress shirts and sweaters. She asked me what I was drinking, I said, "Jack and Coke." She said, "Yeah, that's a man's drink. An Army drink." Then she asked my buddy what he was drinking, and he said "Pina Colada." "You're in the Army, and you're drinking a Pina Colada? I bet you're the one who drops the soap in the shower, too!"
