I'm missing the racism there. I mean, the video is entitled "Trump mocks Asians", but it seemed like he was mocking Marco Rubio, and contrasting him with the strength of Asian negotiators. Is it all about the syntax he ascribed? If so, I need to ask: are indefinite articles a feature of Chinese or Japanese languages? Is it particularly uncommon for native Chinese/Japanese speakers to drop the "a" when speaking English? Or is his characterization of common East Asian negotiating positions and styles inaccurate? Help me out here.

He's clearly using racial stereotypes that are belittling to any Asian diplomat of leader or businessman..It's in horrible taste and draws a conclusion that Trump is actually disrespectful to a group of people....in racist fashion...I'd get fired if I spoke like that in the university I taught at in Taiwan...

I'm not saying he doesn't have flaws. Everyone does. I do not appreciate Trump's new relaxed stance on the H1 Visa shit. That makes me mad. But I understand the need to be flexible.

But what I can't ignore is the overwhelming hate towards him due to people insinuating that the man is racist. That video proves nothing. He did not "mock" Asians, he imitated the way they speak (from his own business exchange experience) in a very matter of fact tone. There was no "Asian accent" in his voice at all; there is more racism in a Dave Chappelle skit than in that clip. I work with Asians, and many of them have been here in this country a long time, and still to this day, many of them leave out words. Does imitating that make you a racist if you are trying to relay a past experience you've had with them exactly how they spoke? I do not believe it makes you a racist, but the media and anti-Trumps will jump on that like Fly's-on-shit. Just to make a mountain out of a mole hill and try to turn that into some sort of offensive situation. You tell me to wake up, but I'm awake, and am seeing things with my own eyes and ears instead of what is fed through the media and internet memes/videos.

The fact is that he made up the story about seeing hundreds of Muslims celebrating in NJ on 9-11.
