Bickerstaff is 67. I don't think he's the heir apparent to jack squat.

He's also a guy who's never coached a team to a 50 win season... and only had three winning 82 game seasons in the ten he's coached.

He defines retread.

I agree on all fronts. I was just referring to the speculation he was going to replace Nate eventually after he was hired, and Allen wanting some "experienced" assistant coaches. In hindsight, I don't see him being the HC of the Blazers ever either.

If you read the link it looks like JB would be the real heir apparent to the head coach's job with Bernie mostly serving as a bridge while he's groomed.

I didn't mean to be taking a shot at you. I meant to take a shot at the idea of him deserving to be the head coach of an NBA team again :)
