Zach Randolph might face a criminal charge for misleading police officers investigating the shootings of three men on a nightclub dance floor, a prosecutor said Monday.</div> http://www.oregonlive.com/newsflash/region...orylist=orlocal

I guess the blazers will change their mind about sending Shareef away, i hope the blazers can finally realize that this guy is just like Rasheed, a talented player with problems. They should trade Zach away for some young guards. I think that Shareef will stay if he can start in the Blazers if Zach left. After all Blazers have the best chance of going to the playoffs in Shareef's carrer.

How can you expect him to turn on his brother? This crime has nothing to do w/ Zach Randolph and everything to do w/ the alledged actions of his brother. Anyone who is condemning Randolph for what he did has no concept of family or the real world.

Oh come on,even the police guys said that he was a great guy and did'nt give em' any problems + he tried to convice his brother to turn himself in and help the police...this is bullshit!!

If John Nash is stupid than he'll trade him,Ive read that Zach worked in summercamps and worked with coaches in order to be even better,in every interview you see him you can only understand his only target is to be the best.

If SAR was'nt there he could ended the season with 24PPG and 13 RPG,I just love this guy.

Randolph faces jail time!

According to ESPN.com Zach Randolph faces jail time for misleading Anderson, Indiana cops on a shooting case. Three men were shot at a dance club in Anderson. zach's brother Roger is being charged with criminal recklessness. He told officers he wasn't sure of who shot that night at the club, which in fact he did know. He is expected to be charged. It is not sure if convicted how much time in jail he would spend.

Whooh, I hope not, I wouldn't want to see him behind bars. I guess the JailBlazers makes some pretty good sense.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting ludacris06:</div><div class="quote_post">I think the team's name should change.</div>

lol true

They got rid of Rasheed cuz he was the troublemaker right???

But joking aside this sucks cuz Randolph was a great player, hopefully he can come out of this without jail time.

Nope. Seems the JailBlazers players always are getting in some sort of trouble with the law

This kinda reminds me of a Playmakers episode from last year (the show on ESPN about pro football).. the NFL star (DH) knew who shot the man (one of his boys) outside a club, and was torn between telling the truth and protecting his friend. It's funny because it's almost the same scenario; in this case Randolph's brother was the shooter.

But Zach didn't do nothing, his brother Roger - did!
Roger knew who shot, not Zach,Zach infact told the officers everything he knew and even talked to Roger together with his mom to turn himself in.

Enough with the Blazers jokes,Others teams's players were raised in the same america and im sure they did what SOME blazers did.

This story is sad, crazy, and a bummer.Stories like this give sports a bad rap in general.

There are some law majors on JBB, anyone care to clear this up? Personally, I don't think lying to police would garner you jail-time. Chris Webber lied to a grand jury and he only had to pay a fine.

Does anybody ever really end up going to jail? I think Randolph will get off with a fine and them taking his bag of weed.

It would be a trip if he went to jail. Anybody seen that lady Ruben Patterson beat up?
Man she was torn up.

Anyways it would be a big time surprise if Zach was convicted. I mean he just is becoming an all-star. All he had to work on was his D, and he definately will be and all-star.

ya man and i agree with iron shiek how can u turn of ur family?? +THIS guys an amazing bball player and rod is right even the police said he was a good guy!he just didnt wana piss his bro off..hes a gr8 bball player

What are you talkin' about?
never heard about it...

If the US will let Kobe free and jail Zach than it will be so messed up. :thumbsdow

when i saw the D-Miles video earlier this summer, this make me laugh,

he was like , Do you know who i am.. loll

Well since he had family involved, it's understandable he didn't give the police the entire story. If family is in trouble, you would do whatever it takes to protect & help them - however this isn't good news for Zach. He always seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and this is yet another example.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">He always seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and this is yet another example.</div>That's basically the story of the past 5 years for the entire team.

You can look at this from two sides, really. I wouldn't turn in my own brother...it would hurt me for a long time to do something like that. However, maybe it would be better to do that than to let him have an opportunity to do something similar again, for his sake...not only would he get in MORE trouble, but he could do something worse the next time, or he could get killed. Maybe an attempt for a "wake-up call" would be better than never seeing him again...and ruining your name in the process. It can be a bad situation, both ways.

You gotta do "the right thing" I guess. It sucks that he's getting(?) jail time. We really do need to change our name though. I'm getting tired of people saying that (Jailblazers).
