If I thought about it longer I could probably come up with other favorites.
Oh yeah, I loved those old German Mercedes military staff cars in WWII.
I loved the TRs starting with the 3....I had a '67 GTO convertible (don't even wanna think about how much it might be worth today)
...also had 3 Triumph TR6s ('69, '71, '75)
I loved the TRs starting with the 3.
Also loved, the 58 Austin Healy and the bug eye sprite.
...my first Triumph was a Spitfire...(not much more than a go cart but was fun to drive...also made a horrible mistake of buying a TR7....(horrible design)
...but the TR6s (especially the '69) were great cars and a blast to drive and I still miss that throaty exhaust sound...always wanted an Austin Healy 3000.
I almost bought an Austin Healy. Can't remember the year it was. I almost bought it in 1967 from my old college roommate who needed the money for Med school. I was within a week of buying it when I got my draft notice saying I could either go in the Army or go to jail.
The car had a great body with no rust but it had a blown head gasket. My roommate even offered to help me fix it. Damn, still kick myself for not getting it. It was only $500.
OMG, Clayton was two timing me.That's funny, I also almost bought an Austin Healy for $500 back in the day. Body wasn't good but the engine was ok-ish, in my case.
barfo
The two guys on Wheeler Dealers made a similar AMC and sold it at a loss. I think it's the only car I've ever seen sold on that show where they lost money on the deal. How about a couple of thousand pennies glued on?

A dream come true. That's my favorite trailer and one of my all time favorite car companies all merged into one. Wow
