Jim Fisher has been a Volvo dealership for at least the last 50 years at 2108 W. Burnside St. I know because I shopped with them when I was buying a new Volvo. They must have had another dealership before that.

Not before - it looks like they started the Volvo dealership in the late 50s. I don't think Datsuns were imported here until the 60s.

I went to high school very near there and don't recall the Datsun Dealership. However, I was a teenager and we all know how stupid teenagers are.

Well, teenagers didn't buy a lot of new cars, typically. That postcard appears to have been postmarked in 1985, no idea when the dealership opened/closed. Might have not been there when you were a teenager.

From 1967 to 2005, with the exception of shopping for my 1969 Volvo, I never got near W. Burnside. During that period I lived in various locations in the Army, in Lake Oswego, South West Portland Heights, Corvallis and Aloha. Oh yeah, I briefly lived near 19th and NW Irving from 1969 to 1970 and again from 1975 to 1976 (same apartment building, different apartment).
Now will you quit calling me with your threats if I don't reveal every detail?
