For you guys downloading: the safest way to download is through torrents and DC++. With torrents you can go to "legit" sites, which are guaranteed to have clean files. With DC++, you can look through someones shared stuff and see what he's got, and you can try to search for clones of a file by clicking on the file and pressing a button for that. That way you can see if the other files you find has the same name or not (and if not, it's probably something fishy going on).

Well, one of my sisters friends died earlier this week, apparent drug overdose. There was a thing on the news about a 17 year old girl passing away after an ecstasy overdose on a fishing trip, so my parents and I are thinking that was her.

Although she apparentley took several pills, which of course is just careless, stupid and irresponsible.

MrJ, that reminds me, I still need to watch that game, lol, I downloaded it months ago in torrent form, but have completley forgot about it until now.

That's it! That's ******* it! Sometimes I feel like I'm done with living here. A few nights ago I'm nearly killed by lightning. Two nights ago we have a blackout all night. Yesterday we lost power around 3:30pm and the tornado sirens were blaring from numerous micro-bursts in the area, some of which were just over my goddamn house! Then when you think it is all over and ComEd can come out and repair the damaged, oh no .. No no no.

Our stove doesn't work, so we decide to go out to Quizno's. Driving down towards Joliet (the place where Prison Break is filmed for those of you that have no idea where that is) and I see wall clouds just popping up within seconds of each other and then the sirens go off again, people are in the street leaving their vehicles behind we turn around through a Walgreens and speed back home to get to our neighbor who has a basement. Half way home you can see tornadoes touching down in the distance far, far away, several of them, scared out of my damn mind!

Does it stop there? No, it doesn't. The sky turns neon green and then turqoise over our heads as we flood into our neighbor's basement as the sirens go blaring in our town. Thankfully our neighbor has a generator so that we had some light in his basement, but then what? Oh no, all that rain is flooding the poor guy's basement, so while the storm is raging outside he's upstairs with me using a pump to get the goddamn water out and away from his basement windows and air conditioner.

The storm lasted until 6am this morning and though we went home and had minor damaged this poor guy had to stay up all night and watch over his house in case of flooding or pump damages. The Chicagoland suburbs are under state of emergency with more then 300,000 people without power still and the Northside suburb towns are almost completely under water like over in Ohio and Oklahoma. Poor people.

This weather is ****** and I seriously can't take this anymore. I have a job interview at 4pm over at Sports Authority and guess what? Violent storms later tonight, so isn't that just pleasent? Hail the size of golf balls predicted and the reason I'm online is because I'm at the library to get out of my humid house and Email my fianc?e who was likely worried sick about me. I'm not the one to complain usually, so don't get me wrong here, but come on now. This is rediculous. Crap, I wanted to write the second day of Euroleague basketball with Kobimel and the sirens go off. Wonderful.

Anyway I'm out, have a blast.

That's terrible man, no luck at all. Weather can really have a disastrous effect on life sometimes. Good thing you're OK, though, that's the most important thing.

As for the Euroleague preview, I think everyone here will understand if it gets delayed until the weather straightens out over there.

Ahh, it was horrible yesterday in the Chicago Suburbs too. We had to stay late at school because of the tornado warnings, trees falling everywhere, it's a mess. And school was canceled today because no electricity. I still don't have any electricity at home, every since yesterday noon. (At my cousins right now). Hopefully it doesn't take much longer, but I doubt it comes back soon.

Three in the morning yawnin dancin under street lights
We chillin like a villain and a ***** feelin right
in the middle of the ghetto on the curb, but in spite
all of the bullshit we on our back starin at the stars above
(aww man) Talkin bout what we gonna be when we grow up
I said what you wanna be, she said, "Alive" (hmm)
It made me think for a minute, then looked in her eyes

I coulda died, time went on, I got grown
Rhyme got strong, mind got blown, I came back home
to find lil Sasha was gone
Her mamma said she with a ***** that be treatin her wrong
I kept on singin my song and hopin at a show

But two weeks later she got found in the back of a school

One of the greatest Hip-Hop verses I've ever heard. I espcially like the part I bolded.

Well, I played a game of pickup basketball today after school, and I must say that I've never seen myself play so horribly. I was bricking open shots, making lazy passes, getting burned on defense. Damn. I really need to get back into shape, and by getting back into shape, I don't mean lifting, I mean running. I used to run track, but I've really slacked off recently. I'm so out of shape right now I feel like crap. Starting tomorrow, I'm going to start running again, and maybe start working on my game a little too if I can ever get the motivation going. I made a promise to myself earlier in the year that I would start practicing basketball again over summer. I never lived up to that promise....

My friends going to the Nike Factory in Upstate New York. It's an outlet btw and they sell stuff for really cheap prices.

Wow, I havent played basketball in a while. I have a baseball craze for the first time in my life. Watching the mets everyday caught up to me. I'm pretty good for someone who hasn't played serious in years. I think im going to tryout for the varsity team. Either that or basketball. Track if I don't make either.

10 more days to go till I move in. ****, I stoked as hell. Just got my laptop and all that and tommorow I gotta go shopping for the rest of my ****.

To any one who has contacts here; have any of you used Acuvue Oasys? My eye doc reccomended it for me, but I just wanna see if anyone has first hand experience with it. Epinions.com gave it a 4/5 stars so it seems good to go, but just checking anyway.

It's good that I quit, because now I get to rest, but I miss work in the sense that it gave me a mandatory work out everyday. By the end of my shift after coming home, I'd feel refreshed and tired and would sleep earlier, but now that I'm not doin any work, I'm back to the way I used to be...which sucks. It'll probably get worse once Uni starts but we'll see. My roomate is a soccer player and he's plannin to play for the Uni team so he said he'll drag me to the gym and his runs and what not so I'll most likely end up going with him. I love playin soccer.

If you haven't played serious in years, there's no way you're going to make the varsity team unless your high school is filled with couch potatoes

Man I remember when I used to be so damn ill in basketball in 9th grade. Now I'm a senior, and last season I probably couldn't have made JV. I miss those days............

Same here lol. Mostly because competition has gotten so much better going from broke ass middle school to private, jock filled HS where all the guys on the basketball teams have been going to $5,000 basketball camps since they were 9.

Yeah I mean I don't have a basketball hoop where I live so once in a while I'll play a friendly game with my friends. But these kids on the other hand play Summer League which I don't have time for because of work and traveling and play competitively. Also, I'm really skinny as hell lmao and I don't work out so if my coach were to look at me off the bat I probably wouldn't make the team. Why would you want a 6' 125lb SF when you can get a 6'2 175lb player on your roster?

I think The Outlawz are the worst rap posse of a legendary rapper, ever. ****, they've wrecked pretty much every 'Pac song they've been on.

lol, on another note, a couple of days ago I was talkin to someone and they mentioned corn on the cob. Now, being a huge Rusell Peters fan, everytime someone mentions corn on the cob, this skit of his always comes to my mind, and I always start laughing or chuckling to myself.

I'm not sure if there's a lot of Tamils (Sri Lankans) down there in the States, but there are a lot of em down here and he covers thier stereotype perfectly.

On the basketball thing, Brian is right if you havent played in a while you will be horrible on the floor. I try to play at least twice a week to keep my game in shape. Try to go back to the JV team. Im thinking of doing Track as well in the spring season. I dont want to do cross-country in the fall though, the coach works you like hell, because we are like the best team in our district. We have a guy who runs 3 miles in 16min, he is going to be a Junior this year. He is a beast.

I'm surprised at the amount of people here who dont actually play. I dont play for a team anymore, but I'm out in the yard practicing just about every day almost.

I play competitvely 3 nights a week, I coach once a week, train twice a week. I can't imagine NOT playing. It's crazy. Every time I sit here and post I wish I was playing!!!

My practises start this wednesday. I'm still the coach for a group of guys that are in my age, so I play too. It's great being a playing coach, because you can dictate much of how the defense/offense is run, and I'm a guy who has pretty high demands on myself and on others. Last season I tried to run the triangle, but only a few guys understood it. When it was clicking though, that was some of the best basketball I have ever seen and played.

I think I've only played outdoors with others like 4-5 times this summer, which must be an all-time low. I haven't practised by myself much either. Went out a few days ago after over a month of absence, shot around a little. Then I tried shooting 100 threes, and I only made 32 of them

Me to. I play everyday, sometimes I run 2 a days. I play one day out side, then 5 hours later I go play indoors. I love playing, it makes everything go away. When I play ball, it is like nothing matters. It is my hobby, my fun, my everything. I just love the game.

I used to play competitively as well, but basketball was never really my sport. I'm mostly just a track guy. Lately, I've really gotten lazy and I've basically quite exercising all together. I'm definetely going to start getting back into shape soon

Yeah basketball is sort of my 2nd sport. I actually like playing it the best though. As far as skills are concerned, baseball's my sport. I just hate playing baseball and that's why I don't try out for the Varsity team at my school. I'm lazy.

Whenever your on a college campus your using their internet servers, so yes they can see what exactly your doing on the internet.

I reallllllly don't feel like going to work today. But..I'm off tomorrow so it isn't too bad. I actually hope it's kinda busy today so that it goes by quicker.

NO! I'm not much of a gamer but almost as soon as I got the new Madden I got the red lights of death of my 360. O_O

Man I gotta go to work today again. It's bad enough my manager is f'ing me over of my hours, but she schedules me to work on Friday's and Saturday's. Man Pizza Hut gets annoying especially when you run out of certain types of pizza dough.

How the hell should Canada even be within 7 points of us by the end of the first quarter? Deron Williams needs more minutes.
