Re: Random Thought Thread
Seeing The Legend's avatar made me realize how Francis didn't get enough credit for being a teammate. As you can see, after serving up that facial on Dwight, he shoves Kobe. Same thing with Stoudemire after he dunked on Yao.

Right now I'm listening to "Let it Flow" by Toni Braxton and it brought back some old memories. It's crazy what old memories can mean (made me a little sad).

Chinese food here is so crappy and even worse some clowns had the nerve to put me on hold when I was ordering. IMO, that's one of the most disrespectful things you can do to a customer - who is making you richer. I think I'm going to have them make like $300 worth of food and deliver it to me and have them wait and afterwards say, "Nah, I'm not hungry anymore."

What's worse is when the delivery guy gets an attitude with you AFTER you give them a decent tip. I remember ordering my food and it cost $3.75 and I gave the dude $5, so he keeps $1.25. I'm not good at math but I know that's more than 25% of what my meal was worth and this clown has the nerve to roll his eyes. I took note of who he was. So the next time he came I ordered with a bunch of friends and the food came out to like $20. He was probably getting gassed and thought he could get like a $5 tip. I handed him a $20 and afterwards said "You want a tip?" he said yeah while smiling. I said "don't drink and drive." He walked away pissed with everyone laughing at him. I felt kinda bad but hopefully he learned a valuable lesson.

Yesterday was my first day working on campus. I do public safety which is pretty much letting people in and out of buildings. It's a laidbak Job for the most part and I get to study while working, so that's cool.

So far I've only met two people from Harlem out of the thousands of students in this school. I was listening to Mos Def and Kweli "Thieves in the Nights" and just realized I haven't been back in Harlem in what seems like a while (just 2 weeks). The part where they say "We take the Blackstar line, ride on home" I was thinking I need to take the A-train line and ride on home, lol. One of my friends called me asking if I was available to play ball and then he said "Ooooh I forgot you're in school!" Made me realize I took for granted all those times when I was free to do whatever at home. My roomates went home this weekend, maybe I shoul've too. Btw, my roomates are cool so far. One is a Yankees fan too (the other one is Mets, but at least it's not Red Sox or anything, lol) and we saw A-Rod going nuts yesterday. Too bad they don't watch the Knicks. But I realize there are some people I could be living with that are slobs, psycho's, etc. For example, I don't know what I would do if I was rooming with that one guy who was blowing up my Facebook page with "Ur soo cool Mike!" and saying all my black friends look like Borat.

There's this one guy who I know that said he was going to the bathroom and saw a long strand of hair on the toilet seat (all his roomates have short hair) and said "Oh, hell no!" So I'm glad I don't have to deal with that. We have a stack of toilet tissue, a bottle of fantastic, and some air frashner - everyone knows what to do with it. I'm been staring at two huge jars of whey protein that my roomate is using. I was thinking about bulking up too. Do I use it, or is it really bad for you (I remember someone (was it M Two One?) said it was considered 'performance enhancers' in some other countries?).

I just realized I have mad random thoughts today. Seems like it was all inside and I needed to get them out. Random Thought Thread ftw! It's funny, a month ago I didn't even know what ftw meant either.
