Re: Random Thought Thread
Bulls aren't in that bad of a position right now.

The West has been pretty much been whooping the East so far this year. Then, outside of the Celtics, there has been a lot of parity within the conference so far. Orlando is 7-2 now I think...thats nice, but they started hot last year.

Pistons could be 5-3 after tonight (losing to the Warriors). This puts the Bulls 5.5 games out of first, 4.5 games away from the 2nd seed, 3 games back on the division/3rd seed, and 2 games back on homecourt advantage in the playoffs....1.5 games out of the playoffs.

For as bad of a start as the Bulls have had, they are still in a decent position. All the games for the rest of the month are winnable. I think the Bulls will begin to bounce back here, winning 3 in a row, making a statement game against Phoenix, and the LA games shouldn't be too tough (we traditionally play Phoenix and Lakers welll....). Loss to Denver, beat the Knicks, lose to T-Dot, and beat the Hawks to round off the month.

6-7 to end the month, and it could be a hell of a lot worse. Gordon will probably have one 40 point game in one of the rest of the games this month (Phoenix probably), and another 30 point game (NYK) leading us to victory.

I think if the Bulls can escape 5-8 this month (going 4-3 the rest out), I'd be happy...then go on their normal December run.
