I hate those commercials on ESPN for that Bod spray or w/e with a bunch of guys running around without shirts and some chick saying in the background "hot bod!" What demographic are they satisfying there? I'm a man trying to eat dinner with my family and watch a basketball game, not a girl alone in bed trying to get her sexual kicks. Who do they think watches ESPN?

Almost as annoying are all those vH1 list shows, especially the top songs of the 90's. Who the hell determines those lists, and who the hell decided to put so much garbage like the Backstreet Boys, U2, N'SYNC, etc. at the top? It's okay if you do that, but then don't randomly throw in legitimate artists like Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam. Even more annoying are the commentaries from washed up one-hit wonder gimmicks and unfunny "comedians" that no one's ever heard of. "N'SYNC was revolutionary. They're without a doubt the most influential and talented act of our age," says Sir-Mix-a-Lot.

I hate television, which why I'm hating being in Memphis right now. I went from never being home, in front of the tv, or in front of the computer to being confined to spending my time between the internet and shitty vh1 list shows. I can't wait to go back to New Orleans.

Not a whole lot has happened. I've been keeping my grades up down here, joining PIKE, got in a bit of trouble that kept me off the team this season, but there's a chance I'll get to travel with the team next semester (meaning I missed our big trip to Hawaii). It's a shame, because I play with those guys every day, and some of my best friends like Kris Richard are getting consistent burn. I know if I was on that roster I'd get at least some pt.

Ah, I'll have to revitalize that.

You were looking forward to seeing me play, and so was my pops, my friends, etc. --- not to mention the reason I'm not playing right now is nothing short of sketchy (I'll tell you on AIM how I got in trouble... wasn't good, and the main reason I flat out disappeared for a month or so without even sporadic activity).

My main concern in life right now is money though. With all the recent legal fees, tuition/living expenses, etc.; my lifestyle has really had to endure a change.

Was going to walk on with Tulane this year but got in some trouble and will probably have to wait a while until they give me back my uniform. That's all I can really say on it. I'm just thankful I'm still enrolled. Tulane is an amazing school academically and socially. I wasn't expecting it to be both this challenging and fun. It trumps Michigan in both respects.

Listening to Lil' Wayne and cruisin through the BHZ will make anyone feel like a hardass.

Cigarrettes will kill me, but life is pretty empty anyway. As much pleasure as I get out of the little things (friends, women, basketball, w/e), it's a more or less meaningless existence we live (in my nihilist opinion), so nothing is better to me than a few menthol cigs after a long day.

Looks like my mom and brother are leaving town tomorrow, meaning I get to throw a house party like I'm in high school again. Nice.
