Don't give me this clownish 4.12 stuff, Barry Sanders was the greatest Runningback, but he didn't run a 4.12.

Meant Bo Jackson. Don't know why Barry Sanders entered my mind.
</div>

Alright JCB, but Bo Jackson was "timed" as a 4.12. That source says nothing about electronic timing.
</div>

Never said his time was electronically timed. Electronic timing didn't even start until 1990.

If it's not electronic, I'm not trusting it.

BTW, here is an interesting article:

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Team scouts and coaches have various approaches for getting the 40 time they use from those six sources. Some use averages. Some throw out slowest and fastest and then average the rest. Some ignore the whole thing and use a time taken by their own scout.

So it is that Jackson's time of 4.12 at the Superdome is the best ever, verified by numerous reports that week in 1986, including a front-page story from USA TODAY.

Melendez, with his 4.24 clocking in 1999, is at the top of the Indy combine list. As it turned out, his NFL career didn't last much longer than his clocking after he was drafted in the seventh round by the Atlanta Falcons.

Champ Bailey turned in a 4.28 that same year, the same time set by Sanders in 1989 in New Orleans. They obviously went on to far more productive careers than Melendez, whose highlight was a 67-yard punt return as a rookie before being cut by several teams, including one in NFL Europe. He was out of the league by 2002.

So the process and an accurate look at history should be kept in mind as the 40-yard times are announced for this year's draft prospects. The 40 time is good to know and makes for great conversation, but it doesn't make a Melendez into a Bo Jackson or Deion Sanders.

So, beware any 40-yard time that is labeled as "official" from the combine.

In deference to the players, NFLDraftScout.com uses the best verifiable ?€” or listed ?€” time from the combine unless it is conspicuously skewed from the other times, which happens when a hand timer has an itchy trigger finger on the stopwatch. However, the times are usually well grouped.

Frank Cooney is the publisher of NFLDraftScout.com, the scouting agency of USA TODAY</div>

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nf...sh_N.htm?csp=34

So, 4.24-4.26 is about the range I was first going to say about the 40. I believe Jackson's 40 is hand-timed verified as a 4.12, so it is still dubious.

Deion Sanders was 4.28 as I previously said.

I didn't exactly want you to reveal that you were joking. I just wanted some more funny details since you constantly amuse me with your posts and "fixed" comments.

The Suns realized that just being a great offensive team wouldn't get them over the hump. They needed someone new that could help bring a chamionship to PHX, but I really don't think Shaq is the right choice. It has only been 3 games, so I won't say that the Suns made a huge mistake, just yet.

All you do is cry about things. Man up for once. Go get a bitch pregnant or something. And when she tells you she's keeping it, you push her down the stairs.

Man, I love watching the combine. Its so chilling. I get to fantasize about the upcoming draft and just lounge on the couch all day. It doesn't even matter if I fall asleep (I did), because they just summarize all the relevant information later. I had a comfortable nap this afternoon and woke up just in time to watch Andrea Bargnani lay the smackdown on the Knicks. Solid day.

Yeah I love watching the combine, especially since the Cowboys are going to draft 3 skill positions in the first 2 rounds. It's great to watch the RB's; there's so much depth this year that I'm sure I'd be ecstatic to get the 6th RB taken.

I'm just surprised that no one's talking about Chris Johnson's 4.24 OFFICIAL time. He blew everyone else out of the water.

I guess some people may think he's a combine warrior. Not that I am predicting his career or anything.

He's a late bloomer on the hype train that DMac's been riding. He's always had game speed, but never really got attention until he ripped apart Boise State for 408 all purpose yards in this year's Hawaii Bowl

This is just ridiculous speed:

Logs aren't that difficult, if you've got any questions, there are some tutoring threads and websites you should probably check out.

I'm pretty good at logarithms if you need any assistance.
