Am I the only one who thinks that after 21 years of playing Power Forward, he's better suited for the four in the pros, especially with Durant, Szczerbiak, and Lewis are also on the wing?

Last saturday I had: 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 8 assists
Yesterday I had: 20 points, 7 rebounds, 8 steals, 2 blocks, and 3 assist!

I almost had a triple double this Saturday too.
 
Okay, just watched the Departed. To whoever that plans to watch it, don't read the post.

Can someone explain the ending? Did Dignum kill Matt Damon because the girl tipped him off (cause she had that brown envelope from before)?

But overall, great movie. DiCaprio can really act.
 
I think Dignam killed him because he was responsible for the deaths of Queenan and Costigan. Basically he was a traitor,so that was his fate.

That's the thing about Martin Scorsese's movies. He always leaves you off with a bunch of possibilities. Vera Farmiga (the shrink) had no connections to Dignam, and if I remember correctly, DiCaprio couldn't locate Dignam either. So she couldn't have given Dignam any info that was in the package. My bet is Dignam just wanted revenge because Damon killed Capt. Queenan.

Hahahaha, yeah, well I figured after all of that, she was interested in getting a bit more 'acquainted', but I guess I read into it the wrong way, and my perception has been blurred ever since, lol. Like I said, I'm alright now when im intoxicated, it's just when I'm sober that I still second guess myself.

Oh, and this year's draft, from #3-60 was not special. I don't know why all the analysts keep saying that. The top two players could wind up being the top two players ever taken in one draft (yes, over Hakeem/Jordan and LeBron/Wade), but otherwise, it was a very average draft. B. Wright and T. Young both have All-Star potential, and Conley, Jr. should have a long NBA career similar to points like Brevin Knight, but I don't think that any of the Gators, Jeff Green, Acie Law IV, etc. will have anything but average pro careers. This is especially true once you get past the lottery. If anything, the post-lottery draft class this year was actually worse than last year's. The class of undrafted rookie free agents isn't half as good either. Last year you had guys like McNamara (who I see just got picked up by the Sixers), Pittsnogle, Gansey, Grier, Horton, etc.; this year you just have Visser, Cotton, Sims, and maybe one other guy I'm forgetting about.</div>

Dignam had suspected him of being the rat throughout the movie. I'm assuming that since Dignam was the only guy alive who knew DiCaprio was the undercover guy, and DiCaprio got killed with Matt Damon at the scene he must have known Damon killed DiCaprio (not to mention Queenan). If you remember Matt Damon speaking to the media at the end talking about DiCaprio's death, he was saying that Dicaprio should be celebrated, well Dignam MUST have seen that, put two and two together and known Damon killed DiCaprio (essentially, even though it wasn't actually Damon's character who killed DiCarpio, Damon was essentially responsible).

Love that movie though, I've seen it 3 times and I'm feeling like seeing it a few more times now. Matt Damon was BRILLIANT as usual, Jack Nicholson was also brilliant in a role he was born to play, DiCaprio was good even though he looks like hes a retard struggling to pinch one off when he shows his "angry face", loved Marky Mark as Dignam and Alec Baldwin too.
 
I realized a lifelong dream today, well a dream when I was like 13/14. I got "hired" as the GM for the Sonics in Jambolia (http://jambolia.com/). The coolest and longest lasting basketball sim ever. Woot woot.

I saw that a few months ago that's with the fire starting, right?

I was playing ball today against a group of simply terrible players. Everytime someone made a layup they would celebrate hysterically like they won a championship or something. All of them had shooting form worse than Shawn Marion and a majority of their shots were airballs and some hit the side of the backboard or the top of it (where the shotclock should be). They definitely weren't hard to guard... my team's problems was mostly on the offensive end. They were uncoordinated and so easy to bop, but the real problem was the fact they were <u>hacks.</u> They threw elbows, knees (one kneed my teammate in the nuts), and one scratched the **** out of me when I was dribbling. They definitely weren't close to matching my quickness/athleticism so I got past one and elevated for a layup and he knocked me to the concrete on some jail ball ****. Usually I'm pretty chill after I get fouled hard, but this was extra excessive for know reason and I was seriously about to scrap with him. Since I was at a park which I don't frequent, I decided to let it slide. But if I was closer uptown, believe me, there would have been some problems.
 
Wicked, all the NBA Rookie media day photos have been released! I'm saving most of them now, hahaha.
 
It's just sinking in that the Philadelphia 76'ers now have two of my former AAU teammates.

BTW - Really, we're coming up as a basketball city, especially YOMCA. Hunt got picked up by the Grizzlies, Byars and Young by the Sixers, Williams by the Pacers, and Andre Allen is the starting pg on #1 preseason ranked Memphis. We also have a bunch of guys from our squad playing DI ball.

Umair, you should get in the AAU circuit while you're still young. You really wind up playing against a lot of great players.
 
I'm thinkin about getting an apartment with my sister.....it will be more money out of my pocket, but I think it'll be worth it
