I was just thinking about what a change this has been for Pau. Sure, he went from being the first offensive option, an All-Star to an underrated second/third option, but he's in the spotlight now. He used to never be on tv, even when he was an All-Star and the Grizzlies were a 50 win team, and now he's on ABC, TNT, and ESPN almost nightly. He went from living on Poplar Avenue in Memphis in a modest two story house in the boring suburbs of a small city to living in a huge mansion somewhere nice in L.A., like Beverly Hills or wherever the rich people in L.A. live these days. He went from playing in front of a gym that's about 20% filled with unenthusiastic fans to playing in front of a packed house of wild diehards that includes movie stars, rock stars, and icons. Most importantly, he went from playing for a bottom dweller that occassionally has a playoff season to playing for a playoff team that occassionally has a championship season.

I can see why Gasol wanted out of Memphis ao badly now.</div>
Quick! Somebody contact Mamba! He's been wanting to hear VC's thoughts on the Gasol trade for ages

No, I should be happy, Kobe had 2 points and a couple shots at halftime. Like that's going to happen again.

Thanks man. Nice to see you're still around. I'll be back on the boards for the summer.

I was wondering who was still around, and it looks like most people still are. Should be a good summer...

Haha, don't even get me started on the actual deal bro. Even casual fans know what a fuckin rip off that was for the Grizz. I can't believe the Lakers got away with it. It was like one of those dumbass trade proposals that Laker fans used to make in the Laker forum actually came true. You know the ones I'm talking about, ie: "Yao and McGrady for Mihm and Karl" Poster #1: "No way! The Lakers get screwed! Throw in a pick to even it out!" Man, I miss the whacky shit that was said in that place.

I think Pau and management got really tired of being booed at home. Pau, in particular, about being the best player on the team and being booed by the fans.

Actually there isn't.

The game is 4 quarters long, and we've already seen you bitch in the Jazz thread.

Further you have not alluded to any specific case or unprecedented amount of calls.

You have a bad call in the last 3 minutes the coach is forced to change his strategy.

Your down 4. What if it's a bad out-of-bounds call, the opposing team runs down the clock and scores, all of the sudden instead of having a shot at cutting it to 2, your force to call a timeout, and try to of a way to comeback.

You never go through that with a bad call in the 1st quarter

You're out of your mind, everything in the game counts.

All you did was make a vague reference, and sound like a sore loser.

Duncan could have easily been in foul trouble much earlier.

I'm talking about a call that might have cost the Spurs the game, and your whining about some calls int he first half SMH.
