Close call on the walk home a few min ago. I was walking home from my friend's house, crossing a busy street and of course a fuggin cop rolls up right when I'm in them iddle of the street (jay walking because there's no cross walk there). He turns down the street I came from, I presume to look for a party or something to break up. I keep walking and I hear a car coming back up the hill- its the cop. I turn back so I don't look obvious and wait to see if hes coming my way or not. Hear the engine start going agian, look back- yep hes coming right at me. So I duck into this shitty apartment complex that my dad used to live in and right when I'm out of sight I start jogging to the center/upstairs area. I figure that cops aren't allowed into private properties unless they've been called so I wait a couple minutes then keep walking.

I could just be paranoid because I'm drunk but I think its more than a coincedence that he turned off of the major street I was on, onto the smaller residential street in a nice neighborhood, then 2 min later doubles back and starts heading the opposite direction where I'm headed. I think he was just scamming for someone to bust, saw me, figured there was a party or something down the street and he could catch up to me if there was nothing. Saw nothing down the street, came back, and then i went into the apartments and he couldn't do anything.

Like I said, I'm probably paranoid but I've already had two run ins with the local police here that I got away with this summer so I'm trying to avoid any potential trouble.

I received my school schedule today, and I'm slightly upset. 3 out of 5 days, I have a class at 6:50 (Early morning college program), and finish at 11:55. The other two days, I start at 7:45 and finish at 11:55. Last term, when I was discussing the Fall schedule with my guidance counselor, I was supposed to finish school at 11:05 (approx.). Unfortunately, one of my AP classes is programed for 5th period, and being that it there is only one AP class, I'm stuck in it. Maybe I'm getting upset over nothing. It's only 50 more minutes...right?

Nice job Run, I'm kinda paranoid too. I had a situation where I was high/drunk with some friends. So we are walking down a very major street (Toronto guys, Steeles Ave. West.). So, we're pretty loud and I see two cop cars chillin' at a plaza. They see us, and my friend had 4 grams on him, so I'm like oh shit, just be calm. So we walk and both cop cars roll up and 3 cops come out. They are like, "Where you guys headed tonight". And My friend is like "To McDonalds to get some food yo". All I can think, is "You Idiot! Why must you say yo." Now, I know my rights, but being high/drunk I couldn't really think straight. They go, "empty your pockets." All I can think, is "RUN". So my friend with the herb, tries to throw it without them seeing. They see, so they walk over to the weed, and for some reason, all 3 walk over to it. As soon as they turn around, we book it. We're running full sprint high/drunk down Steeles and we turn in to some neighborhood. We all split up to make it harder. So I can hear their sirens and we all were staying at my buddies house who lives in a condominium, but they are just all town houses. His area is 2 minutes from where we were. We all know we need to get there. I've never ran so fast in my life. I was running through backyards, jumping on car hoods, it was nuts. I got out of that area, cause I know that place well. I get to my buddies house first than they both show up. We stand outside of his town house, in amazement at what we just did. We go inside and order pizza lol.

8:00 AM is the earliest I am able to go to school these days, and that is pushing it.

My 8 Am class is only once a week on Friday, aside from that my classes are in the afternoon. :]

How can you complain about being done before Noon if you have to start classes that early?

Twice a week...Tuesday and Thursday...and that Accounting class is followed by Finance and Marketing classes

That's pretty bad ass. I've never ran from the cops before, I wasn't really running from them last night because I just power walked into the apartments then booked it once I was out of sight. I had the adrenaline going last night and I can imagine how fast you go if the cops are after you. Its like when you go paintballing and you'll take like 20 minutes to creep through a bunch of thick bushes then someone shoots one shot in your general direction and you bust out of there, tear the whole fuggin bush down, and book it down to safety with like a 4.2 40 time.

It helps to know you're rights though, like I said I'm pretty sure cops aren't allowed into apartments/condos/dorms unless they've been called. My friend's friend (guess you could call him an acquaintance), his mom was a cop for 25 years so he knows what they can and can't do. One time we were at a party down in the Ave's (which is the ghetto in the area) and the cops come to the door to break it up and this guy's like "let me answer it". And the cops are say "yeah we're gonna need to come in" and this guy's like "no, you're staying outside". And they're like "we have reason to believe that there's drinking going on in the house" and the guy at the door says "yeah there is. But we're all of age." The cop was like "ok well... keep it down please sir I don't want to have to come back here". I'm gonna google this shit so I know what to do in the future.

Cpaw did you get caught out in the monsoon last night?

I'm leaving the Tempe Marketplace, when it starts to drizzle. My sister and I start to leave when we turn the corridor to go to the parking lot and all of a sudden hell hath unfurled upon us. The rain was coming down in sheets, nay, blankets. The wind was so strong that it was raining sideways, and with the velocity of hail. I almost get blown over a couple times. Huge wtf moment. There's an entire tree knocked over right by my apartment.
