lol, I like this photo more than the other one, seems sneakier.
Can someone make me a metaphor comparing a basketball to an abstract noun?
I can't think of a good one to make.
Please stop spamming the RTT, thank you.
Orly McHypocrite.
lol nah that was a bit too far lol. But not nearly as far as it could have gone![]()
Seeing as though from here on out I refuse to post anywhere other than the RTT; GMJ's, KC's, Shake's, and Yinka's threads; I shall address this here:

LMFAO that post was epic. I don't even know what the hell he's talking about for half of it. Then he quotes the Joker to put a cherry on top at the end.
I'm hungover too. Still got nasty beer shits but the headache and general grossness is gone by now. Nothing cures a hangover like Quiznos.
See that's what I'm talking about. Thoth makes a rebuttal in a locked thread. What's the deal with that????
thoth said:Cpaw ...w/ his world famous hypocritical do as I say not as I do attitude.
Thoth said:I believe that it's inappropriate for the nfl to be putting on programming during the 6 o'clock hour where guys are singing, "get your *** back in bed." if that makes me 1950's, then i'll take that. I believe that responsible adults understand that there is a time and place for things and they don't subject little kids that that type of behavior, language and/or images.
thoth said:Holy Crap! I'm gone a week & its on again.... its scorched earth for you morons. For example...
Next, the thread title is colorful but the whole crux of the matter is that 1) Usher is so 2003, 2) Roger G is an idiot and is more worried about perception of the league than anything else...
... The resulting controversy is more cash generating crap.
I just find it funny that he calls Cpaw a hypocrite. Then says he wouldn't want NFL players sing the word "ass". But he doesn't seem to mind using cursewords.

So I had a tennis tournament yesterday. It was my first varsity game. I was playing ranked #5 and I won 8-7 (7-4) in tiebreaker!
You can't compare basketball to an abstract noun per se. What makes sense as an answer to your question might be something like:
His grace on the court is like a ballerina on the grand stage.
"Grace" being the abstract noun, and "ballerina on the grand stage" being the metaphor.
Given my example, you can probably come up with something better all the way around![]()
Just exchange your strong opinions for strong onions, and you will cement your status as the coolest guy in town. Just like Johnny here,It is ok. I'm a big boy and lots of people say lots of untrue things about me. I'm an easy target because I have strong opinions.
What about if you say
"Basketball is excitement"
Lol, is that even a metaphor?
Aren't metaphors supposed to be longer than 3 words?
What about if you say
"Basketball is excitement"
