This is the only thread where I fuck around with tags. My reasoning being... who is going to be SEARCHING for the RTT, seriously? That is the purpose of tags, right? To add another way to search threads?

The purpose of tags is to have a way to find content across the site that cover similar topics. Imagine in a few years being able to pull up all threads with Kevin Durant in them. You could see threads about him in college, during the draft process and how his NBA career is progressing.

Eventually I want a way to link the tags on the drupal side with the tags on forum side.

That was my second guess.



So why was Cincinnati Bowtie removed then? I doubt anyone's gonna be searching for that.

What's wrong with having unnecessary tags? It's not like they are taking away space from other tags.

Say you have a thread about Kevin Durant. Kevin Durant, Thunder are tagged. You can find the thread by those, but someone tags it butthurt. It doesn't take away from the other tags.


I could understand if you deleted the tag of Kevin Durant and replaced it with Negrodamus, but no one is deleting relevant tags.

It is an abuse of trust (trusting that people will only put on relevant tags) and is not based upon honorable intentions. It is something I'm open to discussion about.

I've said what I'd do and I will follow through on it. I won't make it public if I take tagging away from anyone.

So............. I am gone.

But I will explain as best as I can.

We did our events... and we tried to move on to team pitcher chug. THe "winning" team cheated. And by that, I mean every team other than the "winning" team approached me and my teammates saying they cheated.

So we did out time trial... tied for 2nd.

And we agreed with the "winning team" to do a rematch.

Kid from the bad team approached me saying "let me see who complained. I'll jack him in the face."

Normally, I'd walk away from such a situation (its not worth it). But I was hammered. So I removed my glasses, told him to take a swing. He refused. I called him a pussy and told him to take the first shot, and we can handle this like men. Before it escalated, my teammates intervened and his teammates pulled him back.

No problem.

SO we rematched.. Took us less than 14 seconds to take down the pitcher (= extreme rape). Kid starts to argue, so I whip my glasses off, told him "let's go....take a fucking swing."

Kid backs off again.

I had none of that.

Got restrained by teammates again.

Took 2nd place. Huge disappointment, admittedly.

But I am more pissed I didn't get to throw down.

I never get in fights. But tonite woulda been epic.

Yep.

And the kid was much smaller, which made it all the more interesting.

Had I been entirely sober, I'd have probably laughed and walked away.

But because I was shit faced, that didn't happen... and I tried to get him to start a fight, which would have clearly not have been in his best interests.

Holy shit I'm becoming an EBAY addict.

In the past 5 days I've spent $98.90 on NFL Jerseys. I got:

-An authentic Antonio Cromartie Chargers home jersey
-An authentic LaDainian Tomlinson Chargers home jersey.

Just need to find a few more authentics and I'm good.
