Yes, I got a 109% on my Economics Journalism Midterm. That puts me at 90.9 through the 2nd set of midterms. The journalism portion of the course is way too easy, but the average grade is always really low, but I've gotten over 100 on both of them so far. People here just don't know how to write and critically think here. If I can get a 100% on all of the quizes, I probably can raise my grade to over a 92% going into the finals, which is a good place to be at.

Also, I'm gonna be pissed if I don't get into the darn English class next semester. I emailed the adviser asking for the permission number for the class, and she basically just stated that I should be able to get into it (which I obviously can't, otherwise I wouldn't have sent her an email)...so now that email is forwarded to some other adviser...with no reply yet...instead of just, you know, manually adding me into the class.

I already didn't get into the stats class for next semester, which is okay. Gonna have Russian, Journalism, American History since the civil war, and a course on civilization in the Soviet Union. Should be a pretty easy semester. Gonna have to load up on the maths/sciences next year. I'm not sure why they only had 2 statistics courses for this semester, given that it is a prerquisite for all journalism students. 64 slots is not enough.

Had some good sleep last night. Slept from 8-6. 10 hours! Wow. Hadn't slept that long in months

Registering for class is annoying. It's solely online and errors come up for prerequsities that I'm already taking or have taken. Fucking stupid, now I have to call department chairs and my advisor and shit.

Same. I can't get into a fucking English class. I emailed my adviser and she forwarded me to another adviser, who told me to email the English department.

There went from 13 seats available in the class yesterday to 5 today.

I believe that I will end up getting fucked over by this.
