Mine began at 4PM today! I had been running on like 5 hours of sleep since Monday so I totally crashed when I got home. Feel good now though!

I only have one more final, and just tomorrow until my vacation begins. Haven't studied for the final I have tomorrow yet, but it should be pretty easy.

I get out Friday...Ive also havent gotten alot of sleep so I need a winter vacation :)
...Umm getting a hair cut tommorow, I have a Ricky Rubio mop right now...
...Umm made a 98 and 99 on my two exams so far, they were easy tho :)
...Umm my highschool basketball team is 6-1...

I can't imagine not falling asleep in at least 3/5 of those classes. It's cool that you like philosophy though. I was supposed to take it last semester and had this awful professor. He just walked around the class with his hands behind his back and his head down rambling about Socrates.

Good thing I transferred out his class.

I think Philosophy should be the only one that has some semblance of being hard, and that will only be because I have no interest in philosophy whatsoever, but I had to take an honors course, or otherwise they'd boot me out of the honors college.

A lot of it depends on your professor. Last year I had an asshole professor that rigidly clung to his incomprehensible explanations of Plato and Aristotle. This year I've covered the exact same material with another prof who gives insightful lectures and provides more open-ended assignments, and its been so much better.

I think I'm going to be transferring out of Late Medieval Phil though. Maybe I'll take a class on Seneca instead.

First year PHL courses are scaled back so much, since few students have much experience with the subject before university. All you have to do is read the material and be a good, logical essay writer and you'll end up with a good mark. When I look at some of my assignments from first year, I see some really weak arguments and theses that were given high marks.

I'm not too worried about it.

I just need to get higher A's next semester. Damn university and trying to give out 3.7's for A-. Pulled the solid A in a 5 credit course by just .24 points, but I'll take it!

The 3.7 is so unfair. They do 4, 3.7, 3.3, 3, 2.7, 2.3, 2, 1.7, 1.3, 1, .7. It is completely unfair to take away on an A-, because an A is an A. It is an unfair system. If it was fair, an A+ should be a 4.3, but consistency isn't something they seem to worry about.

Did my SM exam today. I think I nailed it. Which is rare for me, because I usually have the feeling that I bombed a test after taking it.

Just finished my last exam. It was really easy. Some people finished in like 15 minutes, and they're idiots, because you can't possibly write 3 good essays in 15 minutes. The professor said that everyone was going to get an A or a B, but if some people were idiots and wrote 1-2 sentences for each prompt, then he might renege on that.

Got half a day at school tomorrow then it's the Christmas holidays, but I'm in a foul mood because I sodding failed my sodding driving test again (2nd time). AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I'm just hoping to get good news from Oxford next week (just had interviews to read Maths there from next Autumn) and that the Universe had to make me fail otherwise there'd be too much success in my life, lol.

But seriously, I wanna get in so bad.

I failed my driving test twice too. Don't worry, it actually made me a better driver.

I passed the first time and I'm a good driver but Shake's statement does actually make sense. Alot of the best drivers i know did fail once or twice

Yea. I mean a lot of bad drivers get it on the first try. But for me, I know the more practice I got, the better I got. Now, I'm a good driver (I think) and it's whatever if you fail. Just don't tell your friends.

I passed it on my first time, as does many people in Wisconsin. The people in Wisconsin who fail their driving test are typically horrific drivers. They gonna kill you with their driving if you ride with them long enough.

There's a strong possibility that I will be attending Plattsburgh University. It's about 6 hours away from NY, and 1 hour away from Montreal.
