I dont really care about this tattoo mess anymore. In my religion, its wrong to have tattoos which is why I am totally against them. But if you guys are getting them, then I dont care anymore. Its your belief, I can't change anything. But what I was trying to say throughout my whole argument was that if you know its a sin, then why get it, you know you are commiting more sin. But I dont really care.

But in igotask8board's video, for some reason the guy who got dropped, it looked like he was the one that got the good punch on the other guy. But I guess I was wrong.

Of course you were wrong, your religion keeps you completely devoid of life experiences.

Transformers was a bad movie....too long, tried too hard to be funny, and only a little action towards the end.</div>

It reminded me a bit of Bad Boys in the way it was filmed and everyone had to say something funny. I wish they kept it the same, as the show. But I still liked it.

Here's the problem I have, Umair. You asked if getting a tattoo was considered a sin in his religion, but not once did you ask why it would be considered one. Belief doesn't mean sh*t if there's no understanding behind it.

You can always enjoy life without commiting sins dude. You don't have to have tattoos and crap to enjoy life.

<div class="quote_poster">NTC Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah that video looks like its from the Kimbo Slice series. Can see him walking around in the background there. For those familiar with the porn site InTheVIP, Kimbo actually appears in alot of their videos, as he works (or worked, not sure if he still does) security for them. Not bad for just a street thug, lol.</div>

Man, if I wanted to ever have a guy fight for me, I would take Kimbo, he is amazing. He should do MMA or something, or just stick with what he is doing.

Lol. Does anyone else think of Butters from South Park when they read Umair's posts?

good example. I don't agree with Umair, nor do I dis-agree. I just think he has a kind of bias view, which isn't necessarily his fault, but he thinks that way. Alot of people in the Jewish community (I'm Jewish) think bias, that when they are in stores or places, they don't feel safe like in Israel. I don't think like that because I know better, I don't listen to that crap, but alot of them do.

On the tattoo subject, whether it is your religion or not, it is what your believe, not what someone believes for you. If Umair believes he doesn't need a tattoo or to sin, then he doesn't have to. If Shard or NTC want tattoo, then so be it.

was supposed to be gone from work 4 hours ago, but I'm waiting on our painter to finish painting a new room we have in the back.......I'm still on the clock, but I'm ready to go home, I have to be back up here in another 12 hours.......

Umair, you take your religion way too serious. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but you need to stop being so naive and ignorant and realize that, like stated in the I found Jesus thread, you're supposed to take the Bible, Torah, Quran, or any other religious text for it's overall meaning, not word for word meaning. No issues with you though, just don't judge me again.

Ugh, work sucked today. I completely made myself look like an ass in front of this amazingly hot chick, she giggled though....that's three days in a row she's came in to talk to me

I hate moving and having people move furniture around. I don't understand why women infatuate over doing this once they hit Menopause. Isn't it bad enough with all the damn complaining and hot flashes? Apparently not.

You're right, however its stupid that you're living your life so devoted to somthing that is physically impossible to know or prove. You are going to miss out on so many life experiences out of fear of "commiting sins". I "commit sins" all the time, however I am a good person, I am enjoying life, and not living it to better my chances in "the after life", which is just plain f**king stupid.

Dude, Kimbo would get wrecked in MMA. He's a street thug like Tank Abbot, unless he undertakes some proper MMA training, he will get smashed.

Agreed.

Gannon whooped his ass for God's sake. Just imagine how he'd fare against Fedor. He'd need to bring a body bag with him to the ring.

Your tattoo is cliche as hell though. Everyone's got Asian symbols that say something stupid like "Heart," "Strength," "Endurance," "Spirit," etc.

I don't know when you got it, nor what the scene's like in Australia, but the style is way too played out over here in the states.

<div class="quote_poster">NTC Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I am enjoying life, and not living it to better my chances in "the after life", which is just plain f**king stupid..</div>

So you're saying by being a good person and trying to go to heaven is playing f*ing stupid?

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting NTC:</div><div class="quote_post">You're right, however its stupid that you're living your life so devoted to something that is physically impossible to know or prove.</div>
Its also physically impossible to disprove. Just throwing that out there. The one constant in life is that, regardless of whatever you believe in, there's no way you can achieve absolute certainty. I'm religious and fairly strong in my belief, but I'd be lying if I told you that I know without a doubt that my beliefs are justifiable.

<div class="quote_poster">Umair Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">So you're saying by being a good person and trying to go to heaven is playing f*ing stupid?</div>

I may be reading too much into it, but I think he's calling the very idea of a heaven stupid, not being a 'good person,' which is extremely subjective in itself, just like your code of morality.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Its also physically impossible to disprove. Just throwing that out there.</div>

Evolution, anyone?

<div class="quote_poster">Umair Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">So you're saying by being a good person and trying to go to heaven is playing f*ing stupid?</div>

Yes. There is no scientific proof that there is a Heaven or Hell, and there is no phsyical way of proving it. You're basically living your life through positive thinking. There is nothing wrong with that of course, it is just stupid, because you arent going to live much of a life. You're essentially living your life to die, not living your life to live your life.

<div class="quote_poster">Chutney Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Its also physically impossible to disprove. Just throwing that out there.</div>

I hate it when people defend their religion with this statement, if it cant phsyically be proven, it doesnt exist, end of story. How was the myth started anyway? No one can possibly know, so where did the story come from?

It's like me saying that Santa Claus is infact real, it cant be proven otherwise that he isnt, but you would all think I was retarded if I believed that wouldnt you? This is no different.

Oh, we're talking heaven and hell? I thought we were talking about creation.

In that case, it's not possible to scientifically prove or disprove the concept, but it is definitely possible to trace its roots and realize that its origins lie in population control and a method of story telling designed to explain things that humankind, in a more innocent time, had no technical explanation for.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Voodoo Child:</div><div class="quote_post">Evolution, anyone?</div>
Yea, because every religion follows Christianity's stance on that issue, right?

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting NTC:</div><div class="quote_post">I hate it when people defend their religion with this statement, if it cant phsyically be proven, it doesnt exist, end of story. How was the myth started anyway? No one can possibly know, so where did the story come from?

Dude, I'm not defending religious belief with that statement. All I'm saying is that you're lying if you think that you can be absolutely certain that there is no God. That's the one thing that everyone has to take into consideration (regardless of whether they're religious or not).

To know if there is a Heaven or Hell, you would have to die, then come back to life after an extended period of time to know. That is impossible to do, it can't be proven any other way, it doesnt exist. Religion as a whole is merely a fable created at some point in time, just like Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny.

A carpenter named Jesus may have existed, but he did not come back to life, its an impossibility.

<div class="quote_poster">Chutney Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Dude, I'm not defending religious belief with that statement. There is no proof or evidence of a "God", and even 99% of the people who believe in "God" cant even say what "God" is. Again, this is somthing that we will never ever know, it cant be proven, therefore, there is a 99.9% chance it doesnt exist.

How did we get here? How were we created? I dont know, I will never know, no one will ever know, so I tend not to think, or care about it, because no matter what you believe, it cant be proven, and is therefore completely pointless. Why cant we just enjoy living life without worrying about where we started? Sure its an interesting subject, although its all rhetorical, we will never know.

I think the most logical explanation is Evolution, although in saying that, I'm not saying that Scientists explanation on that subject over time is correct. Again, we only know as much as we can go back in time and keep a record of. If you look at how far we have come in the last 100 years alone, Evolving, or Evolution is the most logical explanation.

<div class="quote_poster">Chutney Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Yea, because every religion follows Christianity's stance on that issue, right?</div>

No, you're putting words in my mouth.

But for the record, do you believe in creationism?

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">A carpenter named Jesus may have existed, but he did not come back to life, its an impossibility.</div>

I agree with you that religion is a farce, but Jesus definitely existed historically. Not many theologists will tell you otherwise. It's just a matter of whether or not you believe in him as the messiah.

Either way, your argument isn't valid to anyone following Christianity, because they believe heavily in the supernatural and not logic.

Yea, but all your knowledge comes from scientific laws and empirical capability (the senses, etc.). And all of that is based on the idea of causation. So, its basically a belief that patterns that have happened in the past will always repeat themselves. And that's just as big a leap of faith when you think about it. The Sun has set for hundreds of millions of years, but is that guarantee that it will do the same tomorrow? That's the point I'm trying to make about certainty (For the record, it applied just as much, if not more, to Umair as it did to you. I just quoted your post because it seemed like a good place to make my point).

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Voodoo Child:</div><div class="quote_post">No, you're putting words in my mouth.

</div>
Didn't mean to put words in your mouth. And no, I don't believe in creationism.

Now, you're suppose to believe in life through scientic proofs? Science doesn't prove anything. I mean I can't show it to you, you're suppose to have your own belief and faith in it.

<div class="quote_poster">Umair Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Now, you're suppose to believe in life through scientic proofs? Science doesn't prove anything.</div>

Dude, I'm sorry, but that is the most idiotic thing I have ever read. Are you actually defending your point by saying things that have actually been phsyically proven are infact wrong? Just think about the millions of different things Science and Research has brought to light or proven Umair.

Like I mentioned above, I'm not saying that Scientists explanation of Evolution is correct, however out of all the theories that are out there, it is certainly the most logical, as it doesnt contain bizarre stories about resurection and other rubbish that is physical impossibility. I just think they are on the right path, however like I said, we will never know.
