Usually when you plug speakers into the back of a computer theres like 3 similar looking holes to plug into. I'd make sure it's going int he right one.

I've done that before and was pissedddddd

If you already did that right though, I'm not familiar with Vista but you might just have to install the speakers maybe

I downloaded some old Nirvana songs that I used to love back when I was in around grade 10 or so. Lounge Act, Come As You Are and Heart-Shaped Box are great songs.

"Amazing" by Aerosmith is a nice song as well.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I dunno, it's just a pet peeve of mine that people lump all drugs together and just randomly spout off, "he's on ______," without knowing what the drug they're referrencing actually does.</div>

lol, My bad, I was just using it as a phrase, didn't think you'd take it in a literal context. I just say that when someone acts like an idiot.

Heh, I remember all I used to listen to in grade 10 was Nirvana and 2Pac. Of course, Nirvana's discography wasn't really that huge, so I pretty much got my hands on every single album Tupac had ever recorded, even his "Lost Tapes" songs from 1989. Eventually, I even got tired of 2Pac, something I never thought I'd do. I've probably heard almost every single released song of his though, and most of his unreleased sh*t as well. "Never Had A Friend Like Me" by 'Pac is one of my favourite rap songs of all time, too bad they didn't put it any of his new albums (as far as I know...correct me if I'm wrong).

I gotta mention though the last 'Pac album I listened to from start to finish was Loyal 2 The Game. After that album, I kinda backed off listening to rap cause other than 'Pac, Jay and Eminem, the other rappers didn't hold my attention long enough to actually listen to thier whole album.

In fact, I haven't even listened to any of 2Pac's "newer" albums because they're basically rehashes of his old songs. While in albums like Until The End of Time they used to just change up the beats to his unreleased songs, nowadays they use songs he already released and enhance them or just make the unreleased version sound more enhanced (i.e- "Soon As I Get Home").

The unreleased version sounds EXACTLY the same, just his vocals are less polished. I also hate how Afeni lets people chop and cut 2Pac's original verses on his OWN ALBUM, it's annoying as ****. In 'Pac's Life' with T.I and Ashanti (Jesus Christ), they use half of an unreleased verse, and then mix in his verse from "This Life I lead" half way.

On another note, The Blueprint by Jay-Z is still one of my favourite albums ever. BTW, whoever says All Eyez On Me is 2Pac's best album needs to listen to more of him. Me Against The World and The 7 Day Theory shits on that record.

I caught my first dunk on someone today! I was matched up with this tall lanky dude, so I didn't want to shoot a jumper in front of him and get it blocked. Instead, I decided to go to the rack extra hard since there were three other guys around the paint. So I took off from around the three-point line and then I saw someone elevating with me but I elevated higher and I dunked on him and saw there were two other people around the area but technically they didn't get "dunked on". I'm about 5'11 and the guy I dunked on was about 5'9, but it still felt good yamming it on someone.

You need the Pun to diss you if your whole steez is unofficial
I'll come and get you and let the desert eez tounge kiss you
With one pistol and two clips, I'll make your crew do flips
Like acrobatics, I'm charismatic, my gat is magic
It makes rappers disappear, whipser in your ear
Crystal clear, come here, let me kiss your tears
Everything you fear is here, you ain't got to search further
The first murder's the worst now I thirst further for reverse birth
Every verse hurts, every curse word's already more offending
Than Eddie Murph's worst
I thirst for blood like a vampire, any man claimin' his game's tighter
IS A GOD DAMN LIAR!

That is probably the best lyrical rap song (as far as multies go) that I've ever heard. His flow and rhyme scheme on the song are untouchable. Dude is a legend (Big Pun btw). The bolded part is an amazing usage of multies, and his breath-control when rapping it is unbelieveable.

Congratulations, must be an awesome feeling. But the bolded part I didn't understand, you TOOK OFF from the 3 point line?

^lol I was wondering the same thing. MJ Jr. in the building?

Wrong terminology on my part. I meant I started driving from the 3-point line. I jumped like 2 feet away from the basket, lol.

lol I wish I could touch rim

.

And yea I could listen to Big Pun all day. Whats your favorite track karma?

When I used to listen to him, I liked The Dream Shatterer the most, simply because I would try to imitate his multies when I wrote my own ****. I pretty much liked all of Captial Punishment, songs like Glamour Life and You Came Up, etc. I also really liked "Leather Face" from Yeahh Babyy!

His multies are untouchable though. As far as mainstream rappers go, only Eminem on The Slim Shady LP had rhyme schemes that could compete to that of Pun.

I realize these lyrics aren't off The Slim Shady LP, but Em actually wrote this verse way before he recorded it with Jay. The original song had him and Royce on it, and Eminem spit the same verse over a weaker beat. I believe he wrote it when he was first starting out.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">
Cause see they call me a menace; and if the shoe fits I'll wear it
But if it don't, then y'all'll swallow the truth, grin and bear it
Now who's these king of these rude ludicrous lucrative lyrics
Who could inherit the title, put the youth in hysterics
usin his music to steer it sharin his views and his merits
But there's a huge interference - they're sayin you shouldn't hear it
Maybe it's hatred I spew, maybe it's food for the spirit
Maybe it's beautiful music I made for you to just cherish
But I'm debated disputed hated and viewed in America
as a motherfuckin drug addict - like you didn't experiment?
</div>

His flow is unbelievable.

I just started listening to Pharoahe Monch this past week. Can't believe what I've been missing out on.

^Eminem out rapped Jay Z in that song. I think this is one of Eminem's best verses:

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">No more games, I'ma change what you call rage
Tear this mothafuckin roof off like 2 dogs caged
I was playin in the beginnin, the mood all changed
I been chewed up and spit out and booed off stage
But I kept rhymin and stepwritin the next cypher
Best believe somebody's payin the pied piper
All the pain inside amplified by the fact
That I can't get by with my 9 to 5
And I can't provide the right type of life for my family
Cuz man, these goddam food stamps don't buy diapers
And it's no movie, there's no Mekhi Phifer, this is my life
And these times are so hard and it's getting even harder
Tryin to feed and water my seed, plus
Teeter totter caught up between being a father and a prima donna
Baby mama drama's screamin on and
Too much for me to wanna
Stay in one spot, another day of monotony
Has gotten me to the point, I'm like a snail
I've got to formulate a plot fore I end up in jail or shot
Success is my only mothafuckin option, failure's not
Mom, I love you, but this trailer's got to go
I cannot grow old in Salem's lot
So here I go is my shot.
Feet fail me not cuz maybe the only opportunity that I got</div>

F%@^ ...I lost my wallet! It may be in my friends car but he checked it once but couldn't find it. This is what I get for getting ripped.

My SIN (Social Insurance) Card was in there too...what should I do?

Chutney, put me on Pharaoh Monche please. Heard good things bout the dude.

<div class="quote_poster">Legacy Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">^Eminem out rapped Jay Z in that song. I think this is one of Eminem's best verses:</div>

I like the song, but that is not even close to his strongest verse.

Have you heard the song Hellbound? Dead Wrong w/ Biggie? Any of the songs on the Slim Shady LP? Hell, the verses of the songs from the Marshall Mathers LP?

Hellbound's lyrics are awesome:

I'll puke, eat it, and freak you (eww)
Battle? I'm too weeded to speak to
The only key that I see to defeat you
would be for me to remove these two Adidas and beat you
and force feed you 'em both, and on each feet is a cleat shoe
I'll lift you off your feet so fast with a roundhouse
you'll think I pulled the fuckin ground out from underneath you
(Bitch!) I ain't no fuckin G, I'm a cannibal
I ain't tryin to shoot you,
I'm tryin to chop you into pieces and eat you
Wrap you in rope and plastic, stab you with broken glass
and have you with open gashes strapped to a soakin mattress
Coke and acid, black magic, cloaks and daggers (ahhh!)
**** the planet, until it spins on a broken axis
I'm so bananas I'm showin up to your open casket
to fill it full of explosive gasses
and close it back with a lit match in it
while I sit back and just hope it catches
Blow you to fragments
Laugh, roll you and smoke the ashes

Don't know if you've heard it or not, but I suggest you download it, the whole song is sick. I think you're more exposed to Em's newer stuff (i.e- Encore, Eminem Show) than when he was at his apex (before those albums). I don't suggest Infinite (because even I didn't like that album), but the SS LP and the MM LP, you definetly need to listen to.

Send one my way too. I've been wanting to expand my hip-hop/rap horizons lately.

Desire's my favorite hip-hop record of the year. Dude is intense live too.

I have an off topic question. I have posted it in another thread but have yet to get a response, so thought I would try my luck here.

Can anyone tell me where I can find pictures of the slam high school all american jerseys for the last five or so years? They had some hot jerseys!!!

Oh and yes Monch is hot!!! New album rocks and I still love the classic Simon says. Also the song off the OZ soundtrack from years ago, was tight.

Just about anything!!!

Cannot find this anywhere. I have tried ebay, google, slamonline, basketball forums, everything!!!

Now I am calling on HUGE basketball fans!

Man..anyone feel like they just need a girl in their life? Not like a 1 week jumpoff..but I mean a true female in their life? I'm havin that feelin'. Ish is makin me emo.

I need to start hittin the gym again, maybe take some boxing lessons. I'll be a straight up beast.

Anyone else hate when time just passes by soooooooooooooooooooo slow at work? And looking at the clock just makes it worse. So boring.

I've been bumpin alot of r & b lately..just isn't really much out there as far as hip hop goes lately. A few good ones here and there but that's it.

I'm convinced that if it wasn't for Katt Williams, Affion Crockett, and Deray that Wild n Out wouldn't have lasted as long as it has been.

Okay well remember the story about how that dude almost robbed me? Well tonight at work I saw a dude that looked eerily similar to him. I was spooked out. I'm thinkin that really was him.

None of my co-workers or the manager seemed to notice that but me either lol.

Yeah Smitty I see what ya saying about the girl thing. I'm in need of one I think. Anyways, it's 3 in the morning and I'm still up. I don't know why but I am.

I feel ya man, I'm in the same boat. I mean I have girl-friends, that I like hang out with and what not, but I'd like a girl that I can 'call my own' so to speak. A relationship. Just hard trying to find the right one

Karma, I qouted that song a few pages back. It's sick isnt it?

Factor in the fact that my Incubus' concert is coming up, I'm golden.

God I hate my parents, they're the biggest idiots.

They ordered Pizza for dinner tonight, yet they didnt bother to ask me what kind of Pizza I wanted. So I asked them why they didnt ask me what I wanted, and they're like "we got 2 nice Pizzas, you dont have to have any if you dont want, or you can order your own", morons. I said I would've ordered my own if I had of known they were going to be so difficult for no reason about it, but they didnt tell me they were ordering them, so I didnt know to tell them. Then my Dad tells me its my fault for having the door close while I'm on my Computer listening to music. In other words, for being considerate for the rest of the family, I have to put up with two 50 year old babies. They always just do random **** like this, they'll make everything so difficult just to try and prove some ridiculous point, I dont even know what the point is in this case, considering I just got home from working all day an hour ago. Usually I think they just take all their frustrations with my sister out on me, because I dont make an effort to argue back (not just to them, but anyone really, I dont like conflict) while she'll rip their heads off as soon as they try talk to her.

I so can't wait to move out.

Damn Chutney got me hooked on Pharoahe Monch. He's such an overlooked artist. I think N4S also mentioned he was overlooked in the rate my sig thread after he posted his Monch sig.

The Truth - Pharoahe Monch ft. Common and Talib Kweli is a classic.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">[Pharoahe Monch]
Yo
Truth had me up against the ropes
and semi-concious without no boxing skills
Fear of it makes hair on my neck grow like minoxodil
Watchin the clock is ill when, faced wit the truth
Parallels observing, amateur video tapes of
Twenty-one top notch NYPD cops get ill
Fill they minds not to kill still son, never revealed
True feelings, we speakin on the truth right now in itself is healing
See The Creator, created existence and balance
At right angles, unless it was conceived and stated
So whoever shall stray away from right lives wrong
The deliverance of the word false opposite of truth off course
Sure as my slave name sending
Troy Donald Jamerson paves the path, enabling truth
To stay stable and cling to EARTH!
Sorta similar to the way static electricity sting see
Truth brings light, light refracts off the mirror
Visions of yourself and error could never clearer
The truth is that you ugly, not on the outside
But in the inside on the outside you frontin you lovely
The discovery of these things and all are well-hidden
But when you in denial of self it is forbidden, that's the truth

[Common]
Let the truth be told from young souls that become old
>From days spent in the jungle, where must one go
To find it, time is real, we can't rewind it
Out of everybody I met, who told the truth? Time did
We find kids speakin cuz it's naturally in us
But the false prophets by tellin us we born sinners
Venders of hate, got me battlin my own mind state
At a divine rate, I ain't in this just to rhyme great
See the truth in the thighs of a stripper, the eyes of my *****
If it's only one, then why should it differ
So constantly I seek it
Wonderin why I gotta drink a six pack to speak it
Took a picture of the truth and tried to develop it
Had proof, it was only recognized by the intelligent
Took the negative and positive, cuz niggas got to live
Said I got to get more than I'm given
Cuz truth'll never be heard in religion
After searchin the world, on the inside what was hidden
It was the truth

[Talib Kweli]
Check it, on my neck I still got marks from the nooses
The truth it produces, fear that got niggas on the run like Carl Lewis
The truth is my crew is the smoothest bits of saliva juices like the roots is
More organic than acoustics
Heavenly ? set you free and kill you in the same breath
That **** you gotta get off your chest before your death, unless
The way you speak is lighter than a pamphlet
Cuz the truth give the words away to the planet goddammit
I ran wit what God planted in my heart and I understand it
To be the bring the light to the dark, breathe some life in this art
This must be the truth (why?) cuz we keep marchin on (true)
The truth lay the foundation of what we rockin on (true)
You can't see it if you blind but we will always prevail (true)
Life is like the open sea, the truth is the wind in our sail
And in the end, our names is on the lips of dying men
If ever crushed in the earth, we always rise again
When the words of lying men sound lush like the sound of a violin
The truth is there, it's just the heart you gotta find it in
</div>

Love the bolded parts and basically all of Monch's verse is pretty nice.

Hey don't worry, I know what you feel like. I started my Superbowl Indy collection after February. I got some nice Superbowl Jerseys, and other shirts.

The hat, jerseys and some shirts are good to go because that's the kind of stuff I get from my teams, but don't start going nuts and decorate your house with fan gear. That is the worst and people who decorate their vehicles or wear shoes and other accessories with the logo of their favorite team on it. That is retarded.
