Great question. </p>

The first part, Sports, is kind of obvious. We're about sports (for sports fans by sports fans).</p>

The second part, Two, means a lot of things: Version 2, the next generation, 2nd chance, Web 2.0, Two communities (JBB+S2, nfl-forums+S2) are better than one.</p>

Navigation? Are you aware of the pulldown menus at the top of every page? Click on basketball and you get a menu with all the team forums and more.</p>

For the first week or two, the justbball url will point to the "landing" page we made to help jbb folks get on to the site. After that, it's going to point here:</p>

http://sportstwo.com/NBA/</p>

Which is exactly what the JBB forum home page looked like to me with a few enhancements - like the team forums are listed in standings order along with W/L.</p>

Realize we're not just a basketball message board, but that version 2/next generation sports site. Since we have NFL/NCAA football and european football and baseball and hockey and so on, our off-topic kinds of forums are shared among all sports members. So these things aren't on the basketball forums home page, but linked to on the S2 menu or at the top of the home page.</p>

To add a random thought to this thread... You'd think that adding a basketball site to S2 would bring us a lot of basketball-only kinds of fans/posters. Turns out that there's a lot of them that are football (both kinds) fans, baseball fans, etc., and they're posting all over the site. Really good people, too. I'm glad I'm getting the chance to know them all.</p>

So last night, I was joking with this girl on AIM about hooking up with her and it turns out her dad was logged onto AIM under her account on another computer so he read everything I said. I was just messing around because this girl is like a good friend of mine and we're always kidding around about stuff like that but now I look horrible. Worst part is I always have to see her Dad and now he's all upset and wanting to have a talk with me and stuff. LOL

Hopefully I can finally win some money on the sportsbook. I think it was foolish for me to bet on baseball, the games so random and unpredictable.</p>

Basketball/football games are safer bets imho. Bet some good money on the Eagles beating the spread on the Packers, so hopefully I can make some money on that.</p>

I usually bet a baseball, and I must say, I've won a quite bit. But then again, I've lost a fair amount too.</p>

But once basketball season starts, I will bet a lot more. </p>

LMAO. I'd be pissed if I was the girl though, her parents seem over protective by going on her AIM.</p>

The only thing is it happened with my cell phone: I forgot to lock the keys and it must have been moving around in my pocket, because it went to "recent calls" and dialed her home number. He picked up and heard most of a conversation where we were just joking around the same way. Plus she said she was gonna study or something, so she got in major shit for being somewhere elseand I looked like a total douche. </div>

Now, for the past 5 days I've been getting wasted EVERY-FKING-DAY. Obviously it's not healthy because I wake up every morning to a stomach that hurts, but it's frosh week so we all figured what the hell. Anyway, last night we had a toga party and everyone....I mean EVERYONE...on campus got SMASHED out of thier minds. I was GONE before I even reached the event, but yeah. Unfortunetly, I didn't "get" with a girl yesterday, just ended up dancing with this one girl, who was like "if you were sober, I would have made out with you from the start" or some shit like that. I didn't tell you guys, but the crazy part is I hooked up with some girl on Wednesday,Thursday (different girl), Friday (back to the room of the same girl I was with on Wednesday) and I would have been with the girl from yesterday but I got booked by the organizers. They actually escorted me to my building and stuff, and they said they would tell the Don....not sure if they actually did or not but yeah. I'm done drinking for atleast a week now...frosh week is done, and school's starting tommorow. So I'm checking out my classes today and my first lecture is at 2:30 tommorow so I really wanna go to it. Honestly, we've been drinking TOO much, and I need a break from drinking, although I do enjoy the amounts of girls that seem to throw themselves on me whenever I'm at these damn events.</p>

Anyways, the merger looks great, still figuring my way around.</p>

It looks like you signed in with somebody else's "Karma" account instead of your JBB one. Try to get in touch with Denny Crane or Petey, because they know how to sort all that out. I think they did the same already for Smitty. </p>

So the girl whose Dad read the whole conversation was talking to me and I guess he was like really pissed off last night and was like looking through her cell phone trying to find my name so he could call me and bitch me out and stuff. I'm really good friends with the girl's sister though and she was backing me up and saying I was just joking. I understand why the dude's protective but reading her AIM and then looking through her phone for my number is a bit crazy.

Im excited to see how Shaun Phillips does this year. He was a Pro Bowl reserve last year, I'm hoping he can keep up the Pro Bowl play. Merriman and Phillips is going to be sick if Phillips continues his play.
