Anybody ever cut it so incredibly close when it comes to handing in an assignment on time? I was writing an essay on Boethius all day that was due at 6 PM in class. Had to leave the house at 4:30 to catch the bus and I just barely made it with my paper. I was frantically editing for spelling/grammar, adding a bibliography, and printing it in the last 5 minutes and I just barely caught the bus. And then to top it off, the bus was stuck in traffic on the way downtown and I thought I was going to be too late to hand it in without incurring a penalty. I made it to class 10 minutes late, but the prof. waits until 15 minutes to start so I just made it. Needless to say, it was a stressful afternoon. My essay turned out awesome though. I tore Boethius a new one.


It sucks that I had to edit this crap all night. I was hoping to come home and finish up a blog entry before I went to sleep. Guess I'll do it tomorrow.</p>

Yeah I had a similar situation happen with a chem lab report a week or so ago. Got it in at 4:27. The deadline was 4:30</p>

Lol, Once me and my friend were messing around in class right, so I decide to tie my shoes together but I couldn't untie them lol, so I had to hop all the way to class, and was like 10 min late. lol</p>

Whenever I feel too stressed or bummed out, I just listen to some Pink Floyd. "Wish You Were Here" always seems to do the trick.</p>

An entire subculture of people (usually angsty teens) with a fake personality. The concept of Emo is actually a vicious cycle that never ends, to the utter failing of humanity, and it goes something like this:

1. Girls say they like "sensitive guys" (lie)
2. Guy finds out, so he listens to faggy emo music and dresses like a dork so chicks will see that he is sensitive and not afraid to express himself (lie). He dyes his hair black, wraps himself in a stupid looking scarf, develops an eating disorder, and rants about how "nobody understands".
3. Now an emo guy, he meets Emo chick and they start dating, talking about how their well-off suburban lifestyles are terrible and depressing (lie)
4. Emo guy is just too much of a pussy. His penis is too small, he's too depressed to bathe, and has more mood swings than emo chick, and he doesn't even have a menstrual cycle. Emo chick dumps him, saying "It's not you, it's me." (lie) as she drives off with Wayne, the school jock and captain of the football team.
5. Emo guy goes home and cries, proceeds to write a weak song and strum a single string on his acoustic guitar. Another emo chick sees how he is so in touch with his feelings, and the cycle continues.</p>
