People posted about sports in the RTT on JBB too. The only rules we have for this thread are on the first page and they basically only concern themselves with personal attacks. Ideally people would post about sports in the sports sections, but if its a minor thought that they don't think warrants its own thread and they want to share it with the RTT posters, let them do their thing.
Yesterday, I figured out my reading rate. Its takes me a little less than 2 hours to read and fully comprehend 50 pages of philosophy (fairly small text). I got so much done yesterday and am nearly caught up on Plato.</p>

What cpawfan is trying to say is that we want to put a lot more trust in our posters than traditional sites have done in the past. Let the posters decide what threads they want to start and where, and what to post when the feel like it, and where. S2 is supposed to be about the posters - they're our stars.</p>
We ask that people have honorable intentions when they post (e.g. not to spam, want to be part of our community), that they respect the other posters, and that the content is safe for people to browse at work (e.g. no pornography and that kind of thing).</p>
"Gamesmanship" (trash talk) is part of sports, so we don't particularly discourage it here, as long as there's still respect for the posters. Athletes, management, and other public personalities are pretty much fair game.</p>
Our staff is here to help, not to get in the way of people having fun.</p>
